I get Tarantino wants to do things as realistic as possible, not have things look "movie-ish", etc., but I don't think he needs to go as far as to spit on the face of an actress, literally choke an actress, etc. They're actors. Shouldn't you have enough faith in their abilities that they can give you what you want without resorting to such extreme methods? And especially by doing these methods yourself off-camera?
Reminds me of how William Friedkin did similar stuff when making "The Exorcist" to get the right reaction from his actors, the most realistic takes, etc.
"In an interview, Jason Miller stated that he had a major verbal confrontation with William Friedkin after the director fired a gun near his ear to get an authentic reaction from him. He told Friedkin that he is an actor, and that he didn't need a gun to act surprised or startled."

This is all nonsense. Weinstein was a serial rapist-abuser, people who work for him are sleazy.
I laugh at the comments saying he made feminist movies--yeah but he worked for a rapist.

Interesting read. He does a good job of making himself look as innocent as possible, given the circumstances. How much I believe, I don't know.

Him mentioning the 'straight line' drive becoming un-straight during the reverse shot made me finally check the video.
The tree she collides into seems like it's in her line out of the twist, rather than being 'behind' her had they still driven the original direction.
Needless to say, the more he opens his mouth, the worse he's making it for himself.
