This makes no sense. Also, credibility of the genre? Fox made a lot of the worst high profile movies in the genre (DC most of the others). Having a couple good ones doesn't extinguish the others. He keeps acting like DOFP wasn't demolished by Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. DOFP did demolish that silly CGI kids movie |

GOTG had no build-up or history or nostalgia to build on like DOFP did and yet it got comparable reviews and money. It beat it in every way.

Hahahaha what a joke. A movie which has tons of lame cringe humour and ends with a stupid dance distraction beating a proper ensemble cast with miles better acting, tension and drama. Dream on. |

Hahahaha what a joke. Yeah, with everything DOFP had going for it...it lost to Z-Listers (now A-Listers) like the Guardians. Like Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr Who, etc... Ronan was defeated by an Infinity Stone, not dancing. No dumber than Xavier letting Magneto go at the end of DOFP. Yeah, Guardians triumphed against all that. Except the acting in GOTG, the drama and tension was just as good. People who say the acting was better in DOFP are just the ones biased against unashamed CBM stuff. |
