Bank robbery fight Heist fight Ferry fight Warehouse fight with Vulture Shocker fight Tower save Final fight with Vulture I might even have forgotten a few. How is that non-action? MCU films on average have more action than DCEU and XCU films. So it seems a bit weird that someone would complain about a lack of action in an MCU film.

You're kidding right? Those movies had tons of action. Thor 3 and Guardians 2 only have 3 action scenes. And Homecoming little to none. Here are the action scenes from Homecoming that I recall: Bank robbery fight Heist fight Ferry fight Warehouse fight with Vulture Shocker fight Tower save Final fight with Vulture Here are the ones I remember from Thor Ragnarok: Opening battle with Surtur and his minions Brief fight with Hela on Earth Hela kills Asgardians Brief fight between Thor, Valkyrie and the Sakaarans Thor vs. Hulk battle Heimdall fights off undead Asgardians Thor and Loki tries to steal Grandmaster's ship Aerial battle as Revengers Escape One on one fight between Thor and Hela while the rest of the Asgardians battle the undead + fenris Final battle once Thor goes godmode I won't even go through GoTG2 because those 2 examples should be more than sufficient to completely break your argument. And just for comparison, MOS only had 3-4 action scenes. Maybe 5 if you count the oil rig save.

But some of this action scenes are really short.

But some of this action scenes are really short. It doesn't matter. You said there were only 3 action scenes, I just proved to you that there were way more than just 3. An action scene doesn't need to be overly long to be considered an action scene. Besides, even if we only included the long action scenes in Thor Ragnarok you'd still end up with 6 which is double the number you stated: Opening battle with Surtur and his minions Hela kills Asgardians Thor vs. Hulk battle Thor and Loki tries to steal Grandmaster's ship + Aerial battle as Revengers Escape One on one fight between Thor and Hela while the rest of the Asgardians battle the undead + fenris Final battle once Thor goes godmode Also, none of the action scenes I mentioned for Homecoming were short, so what were you saying about HC having almost no action scenes?

With 3 action scenes, i mean the main battles. Thor vs. Sutur, Thor vs Hulk and the final battle. The others are smaller ones.

With 3 action scenes, i mean the main battles. Thor vs. Sutur, Thor vs Hulk and the final battle. The others are smaller ones. 1. An action scene is not necessarily a main battle. If you meant main battle then you should have simply said "main battle" and not "action scene". 2. I'm pretty sure you didn't actually mean "main battle", you're just back peddling because I proved you wrong as far as action scenes go. It would be easier if you just admit you were mistaken. 3. Hela killing the Asgardian army and the Revenger's escape from Sakaar are both main battles, which means you still have more than just 3 main battles. 4. Spiderman HC still had the ferry fight, the heist fight and the two fights against Vulture which are all major battles.

Does action scenes really necessarily in a superhero movie. Aren't story, sound, cinematography, script and dialogues enough these days?

Little bit action is ok, but shouldn'th overshadow the other things. That's why i prefer the solo movies over ensamble movies.

One aspect overshadowing another is never a good thing though is almost never avoidable. The trick is figuring out which overshadows what.

DC Fanboys still at it with their pre-emptive strike on the IMDB score of Black Panther--now down to 7.0, dropping every other day last 2 weeks, from 7.9

It was an amazing run, but the first Rotten review is now in. Still, the fact that it took so long for the first negative review to hit is a pretty remarkable feat.

The first negative review is from Ed Power of Irish Independent. Who? What?

The critics are the ones who ultimately decide whether or not their review for a movie is rated “fresh”.
