So, it's appearing that the critics really, really like Killmonger as a villain. Do you think the MCU may finally be shaking off the stereotype of it having interesting-but-underdeveloped or "big video game boss" villains? And do you think the audiences will take as kindly to Killmonger as critics seem to be?

Well, the acting/charactization might be great... But the fights will still be two guys in nearly identical suits.

I think 2017 was a better year for them. And they had been getting better. Vulture, Ego, and Hela were all good villains.

They don't wear suits, though, just little diapers. Definition of suit: b : a costume to be worn for a special purpose or under particular conditions - e.g. gym suits

Killmonger doesn't fit the usual villain formula thankfully. He's not just there as an obligation.
He's definitely more in like with Loki or Vulture than say Kaelicius or Ronan.

Gotta agree now after having seen the movie. Like Vulture, Killmonger was a villain who I felt could actually exist in real life. A man with a tragic background and who brings up solid points, but takes it too far and will resort to terrorism and bloodshed to get what he wants or die trying. And like Loki, he had a solid arc all around.
