Yeah I have to think about it... There's a 1960s French film OSS 117 Mission for a Killer. Run of the mill for the most part, but it has an ending set at a waterfall which surpasses many a James Bond film for a backdrop. THE DESERT COMMANDOS -- undercover soldiers on mission, run of the mill-but then it has a surprise ending--the same plot as the Eagle Has Landed. Those OSS films are actually pretty good, I haven't seen the one you mentioned yet but I've seen the two with Kerwin Mathews.

I didnt know it was a series when i watched this one. The film was ok--not mediocre in bad, but after watching a few of the eurospies they blur together, and this one had an unusually impressive final shot.
