The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar are in the top 100 but this is falling out of the list altogether? That's some bulls***.

I thought it was his weakest movie excluding Following and Insomnia. Still great though.

Still acclaimed and last I checked, a major Oscar contender. Can't have everything I suppose.

a good movie. Could have been a lot better though. Out of the Nolan movies I've seen (everything but Insomnia, The Following, Memento), I think Dunkirk is one of his weakest. Just not his type. So the diehards that usually give 10/10 might not have shown up this time around.

There are masterpieces that are not on the top 250 and there’s total shit on the top 250. Never trust user ratings.

Those are my exact feelings about the film. Good but not great, despite what a lot of Nolan fanboys say.

What do you mean what happened? Nolan has movies outside of the Top 250: Insomnia and Following.

Love it though, one of the most emotion-evoking movie I've seen.

Doesn't suprise me. It's the most forgettable Nolan film ever made.
It had great effects and cinematography, but was lacking in the story and character department.
It's a 7/10 at best.

I agree entirely. I recall reading a critique of Dunkirk, and the reviewer said Nolan could film himself on the toilet and the masses would think it was a masterpiece. I wasn't overly impressed and never am by Nolan films. He is hype and nothing but. The critics love Dunkirk more than the general mass audience. What are you on?
