That's awful. He was an absolute master. He kind of reminded me of a young Hans Zimmer. He will be missed.

same here. devastated. wtf happened. the best modern movie composer and he dies this young? he was a true artist that actually brought new things to music (that people copy since). this is horrible news. RIP JJ :-( very sad. love his music. |

His work with Denis Villeneuve was very interesting. Sad to see him go.

He was a fantastic composer and he still had such a great career in front of him. He won't be forgotten.

on one level I "hope" it was a suicide, so it would have been his choice. not some stupid accident or a crime. as much as i would hate to think he wanted to die, i would want him to have the freedom to make his choice about it at least.
