But a part of me appreciates it because I don't think they make movies like it anymore. The world needs more movies with Nathan Lane. Preferably one where his family is kidnapped by Canadian extremists and he has to tear ass through Saskatchewan to save them.

I hadn't seen it in over a decade but remember liking it. I do recall how surprisingly dark it got sometimes. The time period seemed vague too, like it was during the fifties or seventies.

I watched Mousehunt not long ago. And I can honestly say I didn't really like it. It's a little too slapsticky for me. But a part of me appreciates it because I don't think they make movies like it anymore. Have you seen it? Did you like it? Its a likeable movie but...its too long

One of those movies where you see Christopher Walken is in, which led to the question one naturally asks themselves... Why?
😁😁😁

I loved this movie as a kid. Haven't seen it in awhile, but still appreciate it looking back. Lane and Lee Evans had good chemistry, the direction is very stylish, score is memorable, and yeah - it's surprising dark. Like a comedy for adults with intervals of live action Tom and Jerry skits.

I actually really like it. I laughed a lot more at this than I do at most comedies made today.

Someone (who has foster rats and mice) sent it to me as a Christmas present. It was amusing enough and I usually don't watch comedies.
