The story was predictable and mediocre and the random deus ex machina stuff was just embarrassing (like how she beat Ares). Make the story be about a naive immortal guy and the ratings would bomb. I don't deny there's some element of positive discrimination here, but I'm willing to wait and see if the movie is any good unto itself. You, however, are not willing to wait. |

It was odd because in Civil War they were supposed to be broken up and then in Spider-man Homecoming they were apparently back together and ok again without explanation.

I felt it was more implied they were taking a break and it was a recent thing given she was meant to be at the new tech thing Tony was at, the explanation as to the why is obvious though as Homecoming shows us Tony putting Iron Man on the back burner and having signed the accords and stuff, basically they break up because despite his promise he didn't let up on being Iron Man, but then he does to the point instead of dealing with smaller things himself he actually informs the FBI and such, so him and Pepper being back together makes sense because he actually did what he couldn't before, he even says in CW he was hoping the accords would help smooth things over with Pepper which clearly worked. |

How is that any different to you though? RT hails WW as the supposed best CBM of all time which you take as undeniable fact and use them as "proo" of WW's quality, RT has never listed a single MCU film as bad but you claim they are the dregs of the genre, either RT is a valid means to assess quality or it's not you don't get to have it both ways.
Also why in every MCU film every minute detail must be explained to the point of exhaustion, every glib remark taken as a factual statement of intent but then you will gladly make up any half baked notion to justify silly parts to any DC property, you may be consistent but the consistency is hypocrisy.
Also do not disagree about BP enjoying some artificial boosters itself, probably have a similar BO to WW also, in that it'll do better domestically than is typical and worse internationally than is the norm, but it'll still make a shit ton of money overall.
