Still doesn't prove he was in it. It's NOT meant to prove nor disprove. It's so someone (especially the OP; unless he ALREADY has a copy) can buy it IF they want to and look through it to see whether or not they can spot JL in it.

If imdb makes no mention of it on either page, then they don't.

Nah. Not Jack. The guy in the picture looks physically tough, rugged. Jack wasn't. Also, he looks about five to ten years older than Jack would have been at the time (1949).
Also, from what I can make out of his face there's a tough look to him. I've never seen Jack Lemmon even look tough. He nearly always had an open, friendly face.

Just a thought, could it be possible that there just happened to be another guy whose name also by pure coincident was Jack Lemmon too, and this was his only filmed role. Who maybe came from some amateur theatre company or something.

The guy on the ladder is certainly NOT Jack Lemmon.

Obviously, you don't know how to search for something, and/or you FAIL to notice something that's right there on the page giving "proof" (< it may or may not still be in error) of Jack Lemmon being in this film. Look again on the Wiki page and see IF you can find it. I hope your NOT a detective...because you'd be LOUSY at it.

Incorrect information is easily copied from one "source" to another. A simple example: There is an actor who was born in 1926. ONE "source" (an actual BOOK printed on PAPER) said that he was born in 1918. This error was perpetuated despite his efforts and then his son's to get the "information" corrected. Whoever posted the "according to some sources " about Jack Lemmon most likely used the "info" from Wiki.

I remember a David Letterman Show with Harrison Ford as a guest, and they looked in a book about movies stars, the book stated that Harrison Ford as a boy had been on old TV-series Leave it to Beaver, it wasn't Harrison Ford of Indiana Jones, so it must have been another boy actor named Harrison Ford. Funny still, is that there once was a Harrison Ford star in the silent movie days... The Silent movie Star Harrison, The Tv Harrison Ford, and the Recent Harrison
