Every box office hit of the past twenty years, with the exception of "The Hunger Games".
Every Best Picture winner of the past fifteen years except "The King's Speech" and "The Artist".

The Lego Movie was ADHD: The Movie..
I really despised the sound mixing in that film, I engineer audio and it sounded sooooooo rough and weak to my ears.
Another one I never really got into, The Godfather. Blasphemy I know, I really don't get what's so great about that film outside of Brando's performance. I consider Apocalypse Now a masterpiece though.

About ten people have answered The Lego Movie. Hence this isn't a movie that everybody loves, hence an incorrect answer.

Vertigo. How the hell did that film beat Citizen Kane as the best film of all time is beyond me. Not only did Vertigo had pacing issues, but also I literally laughed my ass off at the ending of that film. It's ridiculous. I watched "Citizen Kane" and "Casablanca" several times each, but I just don't find them as gripping as for instance "Dark Passage" (Bogart) or "Now, Voyager!" (which I find a lot more romantic and compelling than "Casablanca"). "Vertigo" and several other Hitchcock movies are my favorite films, I just get into a Hitchcock movie easier than into an Orson Welles movie. When I forget that it's a film and it feels to me as if I'm part of the movie, THEN I know that it's a great film. I experienced this with several Hitchcocks, many film noirs, but only with one Orson Welles movie called "The Stranger".

The Birds, North By Northwest, Psycho, Rear Window, etc. But even Vertigo isn't as good as those other Hitchcock films.

From my experiences, most university professors appear to assume that students are fans of, or have at least watched the Harry Potter films, or read the books. I have done neither, as I'm not into the premise of that series, and I can't relate to some of J. K. Rowling's world views, personally. I actually prefer the Twilight series to Harry Potter, although I'm not really a fan. I thought those movies were OK, and not as bad as so many have stated them to be, but I haven't read the books.

Which rune is that J.B. ? Your avi... Sure! In fact, it isn't a rune, but it is the Chi-Rho symbol of Christianity, from the Greek letters of the initials of Christ's name (Letters Chi, and Rho). It was an early Christian symbol, but most famously, it was used by the Roman Emperor Constantine I during the Battle of the Milvian Bridge in 312 AD, outside of Rome itself. As the account goes, Constantine received a vision from God with the symbol that looks like a letter P with an X, standing for Christ's name, and the letters for "In this sign conquer," or "In hoc signo vinces," in Latin. Constantine soon ordered for as many of his army's shields to be painted with the intersecting Chi-Rho letters as possible. It continued to be a common symbol for the Roman Empire for centuries, ending with the Eastern Roman Empire's (Byzantines) collapse in 1453, to the Ottoman Empire (now Turkey). I am a Roman history enthusiast, and I think it's a very interesting and significant battle, and there's more to it in this Wikipedia article here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Milvian_BridgeEffectively, Constantine's victory through this battle allowed for the legal acceptance of Christianity, as opposed to persecution, throughout the entire Roman Empire. Eventually, Christianity became the majority religion of the Romans themselves, by the Fifth Century AD, although I suspect many converts went into it out of social and political pressures, rather than real inspiration. The one specifically in my avatar is from the computer game Rome: Total War (Barbarian Invasion expansion pack), where it represents the Western Roman Empire.
