The Lego Movie was ADHD: The Movie.. I really despised the sound mixing in that film, I engineer audio and it sounded sooooooo rough and weak to my ears. Another one I never really got into, The Godfather. Blasphemy I know, I really don't get what's so great about that film outside of Brando's performance. I consider Apocalypse Now a masterpiece though. A friend of mine, lent me his Godfather DVD set about 10 years ago... I gave them a shot, and watched them all... But after watching them, I didn't get why they were so popular either. As I recall they were too long, and I found them boring. I suffered to finish the last one. Sorry Fans.

Considering it's been 10 years I would recommend re watching at least the first two films. People's opinions change over time. The third one is definitly not as good as the first two, so don't bother with it if you still don't like the first two.

I was thinking about seeing that one. I hope you don't mind, but I'm wondering why you think so.

Of course you should see it, I just found it very slow, and not the masterpiece people like to purport

The Shawshank Redemption. I just don't get why it's so universally loved?

Star Wars-The Force Awakens- I just really didn't like the characters, it was an okay movie.
Harry Potter movies- I'm just not a big fan, cannot see the hype.

I cannot fathom why anybody watches the Fast and Furious movies. I watched two and then quit the series.
Similarly, I just for the life of me cannot understand why people pay to watch the Transformers movies. These I do watch, but mostly because a Ladyfriend likes them and makes me watch them with her. I suspect she does this out of pure sadism.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. No, just no.
I found Schindler's List to be boring.
I thought Fight Club was kind of stupid. This guy is punching himself in the face, and the reaction of the people watching is "Hey! That's AWESOME! Let's join this guy, beat a bunch of people up, then become terrorists!" WTF?
I never watched the usual suspects - everyone raved about it, but it looked really dull to me.
I watched Memento and thought it was just stupid and horribly contrived.
No, the science in Interstellar was NOT good. Not at all! Bad movie! Bad! Bad!
I thought La La Land was boring and the songs were forgettable crap. And that ending was like... "so this story we just watched was a waste of time, then? Gee, thanks."
Oldboy sounds ridiculous. It might be great, but I have no desire to watch it based on the plot summaries I've read.
Lawrence of Arabia. What a snooze fest!
I once sat down to watch Gone With the Wind. It was SO dull. After about ten minutes, I figured I'd watch it until the "Don't give a damn" line and then turn it off. It's practically the last line in the damn movie! And the movie goes on forever! Ugh. I was badly hampered by the fact that I just couldn't feel an ounce of sympathy for people who supported slavery. Screw them all, I wish they'd all been shot personally by General Sherman.

Star Wars-The Force Awakens- I just really didn't like the characters, it was an okay movie. Huh, I had the opposite reaction. The characters are the only good things in the movie to me, the story is just a rehash of A New Hope and is full of contrived absurdities. It's energetic and looks great though, I'll give it that. Actually it amuses me that JJ Abrams has the EXACT same strengths and weaknesses in The Force Awakens as he does in his Star Trek movies. And people pointed them out in the ST movies, but apparently he just didn't care.

Avatar -Is this still the #1 movie in history? Why? Titanic -The sinking ship sequence is good, but it is a nightmare getting to that point. A Night to Remember is far better. The Force Awakens -I agree with another poster that it is a crappy remake of A New Hope. The new characters Ren and Stimpy were pretty good though. Except for the fact A storm trooper should not have been able to wield a lightsaber like that...it wrecks the concept of Jedi training and abilities The Sith is garbage now and the Empire is weak. Han Solo shouldn't have been killed but I think that was Ford's decision Hunger Games movies -Maybe not everyone loves them, but sometimes it seems that way. I just watch Battle Royale when I want to see something like this. Fast and Furious movies -Not saying these are universally loved, but all of them make money and they keep churning them out, so... Transformers movies -Almost all of the TF designs look like crap. The humans are annoying as hell. I really just wanted the Decepticons to win so all the humans could be killed or enslaved. Marvel Universe movies -I am a Marvel fan. But at this point I kinda just want it to all end. Iron Man was garbage, FF was garbage, Captain America was ok, Avengers was garbage, X Men movies are hit and miss. Galactus should just devour Earth and be done with it.

There are a lot that I'm tempted to put on the list but it wouldn't really count since I never actually watched them. When I THINK a movie's going to be bad, I don't waste my time seeing it. That said I do have a few:
Juno Requiem for a Dream Donnie Darko Batman Forever (well everybody doesn't like it but they like it better than Batman and Robin, I never liked it) The Man Who Knew Too Much with Doris Day, honestly I never finished it, but I prefer the original with Peter Lorre Pitch Perfect Scream I Know What You Did Last Summer Legally Blonde When a Stranger Calls, the remake Disturbia Michael Bay's Transformers
