After TFA I refuse to support another Star Wars media. I still have the first 6 movies and countless SW video games Top 5 non-rpg SW games? 1. TIE Fighter 2. TIE Fighter 3. TIE Fighter 4. TIE Fighter 5. Shadows of the Empire

Yeah! Far from a perfect game, but I used to play the shit out of it on PSone.

You didn't add a simple:
Yes, but not as much as before. That's my opinion. I'll always care about SW. There's every chance that future movies could be among the best movies ever made.
Disney's ownership of it doesn't factor in. What Disney has done with SW is still better than how Lucas fucked it all up himself in the PT, so there.

Not really.
Although an Admiral Ackbar spinoff would bring me right back!

And I had a lot of fun with Podracer (technically called Star Wars Episode I: Racer), despite the source material.

Disney has turned it into a live action Disney cartoon. Or a Star Wars version of a preteen Disney channel show.
Even the prequels with their pacing problems, occasionally flat characters, and storylines occasionally too weighed down with politics still told a story that felt like a saga. It still had themes.
The Disney sequel trilogy offers nothing but watching lively but paper-thin characters who play formulaic roles. They have the character development of a Saturday morning cartoon... at best.
The character development is horrible. The writing is horrible. The plots are horrible. The storylines are dismal, dead ends, and disjointed messes. Mostly the OT characters were contrived and counterfeit add-ons that (at least partly) ruined their legacy.
Sure I could sit there and watch the great cinematography, and the nostalgic SW motifs. And sit there and get excited about that alone and tell myself "The real Star Wars is back!" But that's all it has to offer, and then you have to start lying to yourself that anything else about Disney's version of SW is the same quality as the OT.
Honestly I can get more real SW and quality SW from watching the animated series... and that's a shame.
