Do you have Olympic Fever or could you not care one iota or somewhere in between?

I voted Bronze but it's not totally accurate - I'm not actively checking the highlights, it's just impossible to avoid the stories when I browse my usual sports news sites.
I saw that a radio host called a 17 year old athlete a "little hot piece of ass" and was fired. Not a good year for the fine folk narrating the airwaves.

Silver. I watch it periodically and pay closer attention if an American is a favorite, but I'm not glued to my tv all night.

I tend to not care about an event if there's no Americans in the finals.

In these times that would be a pretty bad thing to say of any athlete regardless of age, but of a 17-year old? Can't really disagree with him being fired.

Silver. I've been watching it during my normal TV-watching time. Kinda bummed out that we didn't go this time. My wife and I have gone a few times to both summer and winter games, and we keep intending to make it basically a "mandatory trip" for us. We both enjoy the Olympics a lot, and it's a good way to prompt yourself into taking some vacations, to some destinations, that you might not do otherwise.

It was my first Olympics. I loved it.

It's on in the background but I'm not really paying attention. Saw some curling and snowboarding.

Yeah, we went to Rio and loved it, too :-) I had been to Brazil a couple times before, actually, but that was the first time I got to spend any time in Rio as a tourist.

Not at all, like I say, the over the top jingoistic nationalism sickens me too much to enjoy any of the sports.

I went for a good variety of sports: volleyball (indoors and beach), basketball, rugby, field hockey, fencing, boxing, gymnastics, track and field, table tennis, wrestling.

I'm between bronze and banned. I'm not totally ignoring it but I'm only hearing things second hand.

I have Olympic-fever-from-8pm-to-11pm or so.
I'm watching cuz sports on top of sports on top of sports is awesome. I am not however planning my life around it. Certain events I'll keep eye out, yet usually they've geared those for the easiest tv watching times... I don't have to hunt around for obscure start times on the premiere events.

I never watch the Winter Olympics. I don't like any of the events.

Australia's won three medals without something so hilarious as the whole field falling over in a speed race and skating to gold. I'd watch the hockey, but the coverage here is non existent and the live stuff is on right in the middle of the working day.

If I saw a schedule, I might try to watch. But just turning it on is usually not worthwhile.

...and I love the idea of winter olympics, just doesn't mean I want to actually watch it.
