$362 million worldwide.
Domestically it's practically the same opening as Age of Ultron.

In a day there have been 14,300 audience reviews on RT. The percentage has gone 73% to 77%. The rating went 3.8 to 4.0. It probably has another 32,000 - 60,000 audience reviews.

If the new estimates are correct from Disney/Marvel it almost beat Justice League in 3 days domestically. 201 million for Black Panther vs Justice League's full theater run of 228 million. It only took 4 days to beat it. The new estimates for 4 day run is 235 million. We live in a weird time. I would never believed a Black Panther movie would ever have beaten Justice League in any way growing up. It shows how much MCU has gone and how far DCEU has fallen. And for someone who has read both DC and Marvel most of his life it sucks that DC can't keep up.

I just love how these boards are so quiet and peaceful for the last four days. The air of resignation is so heavy...

I just love how these boards are so quiet and peaceful for the last four days. The air of resignation is so heavy... Die hard DC fans are trying their best but the $200 million plus opening 3 day weekend has killed them off. You can't fart against thunder. ![](https://s26.postimg.org/6h2ujupw9/nope.gif) ![](https://s26.postimg.org/tek3suwt5/laugh.gif)

Too bad i can watch it on Blu-Ray first. Too much 3d showings here in germany. If you don't want to watch in 3d but only thing you can find are 3d showings, there is something you can do. My cousin can't stand 3d so he got 2 3d glasses. He popped the lenses out of them. Then put two left lenses together and Then two Right lens together. Now he has 2 pair of glasses that will take 3d movies and watch them in 2d. You'll still get charged 3d prices though.

From Boxofficemojo: "Overall, it feels relatively safe to expect a domestic run over $550 million, which would make Black Panther the seventh largest domestic performance of all-time and the second largest in the MCU, behind only The Avengers ($623.3m). That said, should it follow The Avengers and delivers a 3x multiplier we're looking at a $605M+ run at the domestic box office, while a performance closer to Jurassic World's run pushes that total over $630 million.
Where it goes internationally will be interesting to watch, four films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have topped $1 billion worldwide. Will Black Panther become the fifth?"
what you think? which end of the spectrum. And chance for a Billion?

It all depends how it holds up really. The Avengers was particularly leggy of which others haven't been.
Age of Ultron, Civil War and Iron Man 3 which were the next three biggest opening were all pretty frontloaded, especially Civil War which was considered disappointing and ironically that was the best one too.
If it were more in line with those then it could miss $500 million altogether as it'd fall between $460-485 million.

Now that it has opened I don't want to do that again. I'm going to say 545 million at it's lowest 615 million as it's highest.
