Entertaining high tempo game with Celtic getting numerous balls into the Russian penalty area with out anybody managing to get on the end of anything. Tierney is being played as an out-and-out winger and he is causing Zenit all kind of problems. Dembele is too keen, if anything and a cooler head might have scored at least once.
At last a breakthrough Musonda finds McGregor in the area and he controls the ball expertly on hus chest before lashing home.

I thought that Ajer, Tierney and Ntcham were the best of a good team performance. We could do with the return from injury of Armstrong, Rogic, Roberts and especailly Griffiths for the return but can't see any of them being fit. Zenit, I fancy will target Lustig and I doubt that Tierney will be given the room to bomb forward the way he did tonight.

Of all those on our injured list. Gordon, Boyata, Armstrong, Roberts, Compter, Rogic, Griffiths, Biton, I'd have Griffiths back. He might have scored a hattrick last night. Zenit had 1 chance in the whole match. We had 3/4 in the first 15 minutes and we dropped one of our top scorers, Sinclair
