Richmond Bridge in Tasmania, Australia. I visited this bridge as a young kid but didn't take any photos. Seeing this photo makes me wanna go back to Tasmania. This bridge was built in the 1820s by convicts.....

Astor was an Australian company best known for their radios. They also made TV sets. These days, Australia doesn't manufacture anything....

....and after posting pictures by others, here's one by me, which I took last month using the Kodak Brownie No. 2, a camera sold from 1901 to 1935. It was a cheap camera, often marketed towards kids.

Unless I'm mistaken, Duz laundry soap was an early sponsor of the "The Guiding Light" TV series.

A transistor radio that was made in Australia. I want one. I used to have a "Mickey Mouse" 2 Transistor radio when I was a kid....circa 1963. It was about 4" high, 3" wide and the antenna came out the center of Mickey's head. It was awesome cause at nightime it would pick up a station in Wheeling, West Virginia.......about 700 miles away !!!

Which reminds me, Astor got in trouble because they sold a Mickey Mouse themed radio (I think during the 30s or 40s)....without bothering to ask Walt Disney for permission. Oh dear.....
