where's mars at - indiana at iowa - espn just showed an epic snowstorm outside - looked awesome - you've got to appreciate the fans out there that 'weather the storm' and show up ...... iowa has a pretty sweet home court............ Love Iowaβs parquet court, not many like it. Syracuse hangs on and beats Miami, very nice win for the Orange. I think Syracuse is going to need one of their patented runs in the conference tourney, but Boeheim gets them to do that often.

Gruesome injury in the Auburn game. Ankles aren't supposed to rotate counterclockwise.

Novaβs offense has exploded, draining shots and controlling the pace of the game. Xavier needs to settle down and play better perimeter defense.

Novaβs offense has exploded, draining shots and controlling the pace of the game. Xavier needs to settle down and play better perimeter defense. they're hot - that been said - it's always been the death of them over the years - if they're cold from the outside. championship season a couple of years back at least they had Ochefu to save them down low who really came into his own. hoping we can see that from Spellman/Paschall this tourney too (they can hit 3s too) down low if their guards/ wings are cold like they were against Providence the other night. fun team to watch - nice to see this kid Gillespie step up for 'Nova too - they always seem to have a 'guard' just waiting in the wings to step up every year....

musketeers still in it - 14 point deficit at home at the half - #4 ranked team in the country - nowhere near from over......... hoping we don't see a 'tale of two halfs' here....at least on my end

Yeah thatβs why I donβt trust Nova, they are very streaky and seem to rely on drilling long jumpers, if they go cold they are in trouble, Spellman seems to be their only guy down low who can cause opponents problems. But when Nova is clicking on all cylinders, they look like the best team in America. Nova up 14 at the half, it will be interesting to see if Xavier can make a comeback, they have the ability to do so but they have to play some perimeter defense instead of just looking clueless.

I don't want to say anything too early here, but the Villanova game isn't surprising me too much. I've thought that Xavier is good, but I've never thought they were first seed quality.

Just like I thought they might, Xavier has come back. They are finally playing some defense and their offense is very strong, theyβve settled in now and are executing well, their offense is very strong and I love their depth, this is going to be an awesome finish IMO.
