What a bore, man from Corman. A man, his wife and his lawyer discover they are probably the last three people alive on Earth and spend the rest of the movie talking about it, and deciding which of the men gets the girl. Interesting only for being written by the guy who wrote Chinatown and a bunch of other noted movies. He also stars.

I didn't know Robert Towne was an actor. Your description does not make me want to see this movie.

You gotta love Corman. I bet even as boring as this movie sounds it made a profit.

The twin of this one is Creature from the Haunted Sea, which makes this movie look like a multiple Oscar winner.

I didn't think it was all that bad considering it's a low budget public domain end-of-the-world flick with a cast of three people. I thought the love triangle aspect of the film was believable (2 guys/1 attractive girl - it would be inevitable) and the island locations were nice to look at. Overall, a decent slice of early 60's cheese.

The wife might have something to say about that.

I thought it was fine, if a little slow, but then I really like the slow-moving Giallo terror films as well, and I don't mean the Italo-Zombie films of the same time.
