Mine are Master of Reality, Sabotage, and Heaven and Hell. Most people say Paranoid is their favorite, and while I do love that album, I think I listened to it way too much and am mostly bored with it now. Same thing happened with Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast.

I went with the first 3 albums. Even though I'm a dio fan as well as a fan of all the different versions of Sabbath, for me it's those 3 with ozzy on them when I think of black sabbath.

Also I have to give a shoutout to the tony martin stuff. It's underrated and I know it didn't do much business in the states, but Eternal idol, Tyr, and Headless Cross are really good albums in my opinion. and I don't think the Forbidden album is that bad at all either.

Black Sabbath: a great introduction to one of the most iconic bands in music. Scary, ominous, bluesy, everything that gave birth to Sabbath's sound.
Paranoid: full of classic riffs, including Ironman. A song even non-Sabbath fans would recogonize.
Vol 4: Wheels of Confusion is one of their most beautiful songs. This is the group probably at their finest in terms of composition. They took everything from the first three albums and refined it.
I love how everyone's list is very different. That speaks to the power of the band's repertoire.
