I liked Black Panther and all, but a website doesn't dictate what people should think. The ultimate source is your own opinion. And besides that, a quick glance at their 'best movies of all-time' list shows that their Bayesian method is very flawed if it's purpose it to show the lasting legacy and opinion on a movie. This isn’t about telling people what to think. This is about what is. Black Panther is the best superhero movie of all time. There is no debate. According to some folks, this list is the ultimate authority. Period. It doesn’t matter what any individual thinks. Hell, there’s one person on this forum who personally thinks the best superhero movie of all time is one of the worst. … of course, he loathes most of the best superhero movies of all time … while praising movies that are so bad, they didn’t even make this list. So, you can take that opinion for what it’s worth.

I think you're missing the Sarcasm--KingKongBrady and others are actually making fun of this website lol

Oh crap here comes the pivot that you should use the Audience Percentage and Rate. You shouldn't use the Critics because they are biased. Pivot forever! RT Audience at 77% equals mediocre movie--you know, dem critics be skeered of dissin' BP!

I thought you'd have voted for Mildred Pierce. Mrs. Beragon begs the gentleman’s pardon but is unable at the moment to acquiesce to his request that she run for the presidency of the United States, as she is in conference with the police department at the moment.

It was a good movie and all but #1? I don't think so. That's as odd as when Wonder Woman was #1.

The Dark Knight and I don't really think it's even close either. It might not have the highest percentage score on Rotten Tomatoes but the more important thing is the average score. Black Panther has an average score of 8.2 but The Dark Knight has an 8.6. Wonder Woman is ranked #2 but it only has a average score of 7.6 so I don't know why it all works like that. As far as I know it's got the best average score of any superhero movie on the site. It's also the highest rated on IMDb by a considerable margin. A massive 1.9 million votes gave the movie a average of 9/10. You can't really beat that.

The top 3 rankings pretty much reflect my own preference for the 3 cbm franchises: 1. MCU 2. DCEU 3. Fox

It appears that RT recently expanded their list from 50 to 60 of the best superhero movies of all time, and the rest of the DCEU still couldn't make the expanded list. That's Baaaad! Humiliating, even ... for any of those DC fanboys who are heavily invested in the DCEU vs MCU thing.

But the reason I put the DCEU over the Fox-men movies is because, although the Fox movies are better on average, at least DC doesn't butcher their characters as horribly as Fox does with the X-men.

Also Man of Steel was pretty awesome in my opinion and atleast DCEU manages to keep me interested in what's next where's Fox only managed to do that with Deadpool.

And now BP passed WW domestic in just 12 days... Wasn't a thread about "Is BP > WW?" somewhere in this board?
