In the hearts and minds of Americans, in terms of cultural significance. Innit? That RT score proves it's a more successful, better, and more culturally significant film.
How can Star Wars recover? Is it over?!
Is it... time to reboot Star Wars?

Disney still gets the $$ but from a inhouse point of view Marvel is now Disney's true Moneymaker. IW will shatter TFA's records.

legs...if I Id get a dime for every time I hear some generic, formualic franchise is supposedly better and more relevant than SW...heard that from friends and girlfriends too often: "Hurry Potzer iz bedda and more successful than SW" or the same crap with LotR/Hobbit & Pirates & Matrix & Transformers & al, and then they faded into obscurity like wet fart boy-band fame with hardly anybody caring, unlike SW.
The MCU and Panther are top now, but let the phase 3 phase out and it will disintegrate like the hot, formulaic raccoon turd for kids that it is. Patience, fatigue is coming when you least expect it, and there will nothing left to reboot when that happens.

Star Wars never was and never will be as culturally significant as the first film in history to have an all African American cast. The one. THE ONLY! Bllllllllaaaaaaaack PAAAAAAAAANNNTHEEEEEEEERRRRRR! Star Wars had an all Caucasian Cast, destroyed the American arthouse film and was the Big Bang for commercialized movie franchises. It was bigger than Panther and MCU and Jesus put together
Black panther is just a smart publicity stunt for the Marvel sheeple believing that there were no black superhero films before, all bleeting "Meeeeeh, mooooar Marvel". They already try the same propaganda narrative with Captain Marvel female CBMs (despite recent films to the contrary)...

You, and we all, know that Black Panther hasn't replaced anything. Its just ONE movie (that had very little competition at the theatres by the way).
Now if there was an entire franchise (at least 3 movies), and each one makes the astonishing amount of money that this one made, AND there are all the toys and tie ins and cultural references that Star Wars has had, THEN you can make a statement like this.
Until then... stop trolling. Or at least troll more originally. Your trolling is starting to show. LOL

The MCU and Panther are top now, And will stay there. It'll still be making top dollar and top scores when the competition, like Fox, has crumbled to dust. DC will self-destruct, as it always does.

Nah, just the facts. The paradigm has shifted and people want more than flat archetypes and villains being the real leads.

If you hate the idea of the hero being the lead instead of the villain being the source of everything, the hero being a flawed person who realizes he needs to change and his society is flawed instead of always being some flawless paragon fighting for the status quo, etc.
The old-fashioned, lazy way out that DC clung to for dear life.

It's a bad movie. That's why I don't like it.

It's a bad movie. In your opinion. Me, I like that idea of the hero being the actual lead as opposed to what DC and FOX keeps doing.

You new here? You know he won't. It's why he and his crew exist here. It's their sole purpose for coming to this site. Why would you even try having a legit conversation with him?

In your opinion. I don't care about what DC and Fox keep doing, no relevance to me. It's all mindless crap and mindless isn't so bad if it doesn't take itself overly serious.

Uh what? Star Wars has always had a lead hero. I was talking about older CBMs, where usually the lead hero took a back seat to the villain.
