There's too many films about the alien as the good guy. Or the white male as a failure. Deckard was a feeble character in the original too though.
Liberals tend to make shitty movies.
If they remade For a Few Dollars More it would have been something like No Name is either black, or if he is white, he has angst about his father. The Van Cleef character would be shown to be responsible for his sister's death, and the Mexican outlaw and his lovable hunchback friend would ride off into the sunset after No Name shoots Mortimer and reveals his intention to become transgender.

Basically... while the movie was solid visually, the overall movies does nothing for me as it's a pretty middle-of-the-road for me (i.e. 5/10 (watchable but ultimately forgettable/Thumbs Down)).

I wasn't a fan of the first Blade Runner so i was never going to like 2049. I'm a character fan and neither film had a decent/engaging character. For me atmosphere and visuals come second to the characters and the acting. Both films were too slow but with 2049 i was actually bored.

I'd rather find a lump on my testicle than watch a Cinema Sins video.

I usually find these entertaining, but the jokes were stale in this one for the most part.
