I was recommended glasses (myopia) 4 years back and even got glasses made. But I never wore it. Feel that I should given slight headache I face these days. But have no idea it's related to vision. It could probably due to stress.

I wore glasses from my early teens until I was about thirty years old, when I switched to contact lenses. I have been wearing contacts since then. In recent years it has become impossible for me to read small letters when I have my contacts on, so now I have reading glasses to use on top of the contacts. When I am wearing my regular glasses instead of the contacts, all I have to do is remove the glasses and I can then read small letters.

Did the vision improve by itself?

Did the vision improve by itself? Yes, after I stopped wearing the glasses. I also wore a contact lens on my left eye for about two years, and my right eye started to weaken. Great. Now the doctor can double his money and sell me two lenses from now on instead of one. It was then that I began to realize what a racket the eye care business is.

I have - ever since my second year of university. I wear them for seeing far away.
One class was held in an auditorium, and there would be slides projected onto a screen. For the life of me, I could not see them at all. Plus, I had these really bad headaches.
Plus, in one class, there was some speaking who was on the other side of the room. I was thinking....who the hell is speaking?
Landlady suggested that I go see the eye doctor. It was determined that I needed glasses. Honestly, I was looking forward to wearing glasses.
First class in the auditorium, the glasses made a WORLD of difference. I could actually see what was on the screen!

Yes since 11 years old for distance.
But not for reading at 67!

Yes. Went to progressive lenses about 20 years ago; and then last year I need . . . reading glasses AND progressive glasses. The reading are for reading books, newspapers, etc., and for working on the computer. So I have two sets of glasses. And, like Catman, intelligent and stuff.

Yes. So does my husband. Between us, we've got enough eyes to outfit a spider.
