Disregarding the order they chose to rank them, how many of these 33 songs do you think deserve to be included on this list: Best Movie Songs Ever SAVE FERRIS

"Eye of the Tiger" but no "Gonna Fly Now"? Not a single Disney song (oh, just saw the "no musical" rule - seems arbitrary)? The accolades for "Everything Is Awesome" meanwhile is endlessly ironic considering it was designed to be lowest common denominator pop garbage.
I think "Skyfall", "Call Me", and "Falling Slowly" should have been included. At least over "It's Hard Out Here For a Pimp". I like that song, but it's not one of the 33 greatest anythings.

Then it isn't the 33 best movie songs "OF ALL TIME", is it?
With those restrictions, that makes for one fucking shitty article...
With that being said... Of the songs that they did select from their limited film library... In my opinion, I think these are the only songs, that are worthy of belonging on that list.
33. "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic, Celine Dion 32. "The Power of Love" from Back to the Future, Huey Lewis and the News 26. "Ghostbusters" from Ghostbusters, Ray Parker Jr. 22. "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky III, Survivor 20. "Danger Zone" from Top Gun, Kenny Loggins 17. "Don't You (Forget About Me)" from The Breakfast Club, Simple Minds 15. "I've Had the Time of My Life" from Dirty Dancing, Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes 12. "Goldfinger" from Goldfinger, Shirley Bassey 10. "9 to 5" from 9 to 5, Dolly Parton 7. "Mrs. Robinson" from The Graduate, Simon & Garfunkel 4. "Stayin' Alive" from Saturday Night Live, The Bee Gees
Only 11/33 (33%) of the songs/movies that they picked, are ones that I have heard the song, AND have seen the movie...
With the exception of: 31. "Men in Black" from Men in Black, Will Smith... I can't remember this song at all. So, In My Opinion, it must not have been that great!
I personally can't agree with their list... as I could name more songs which would meet my personal tastes... And that is with the same restrictions they used... without those restrictions, I could probably come up a complete list of 33 all on my own...
But, I am not going to name another 22... I'll just name ONE. At it falls within all of their restrictions... Including:
1. "I Feel Love" (Benji's Theme) from Benji (1974), Charlie Rich.

I agree with these suggestions too:
Here another one that I would pick before many of the others on that original list.
"Back In Time" by Huey Lewis and the News - Back To The Future
