depends on my mood... watch a movie but sometimes i want to read a book.
i also listen to music some of them in album form on my way to work/home. sometimes i read a book while i am listening to music. anything to take my mind off my shit commute with even shittier commute companions.

In general...
1.Movies (for something that uses 1hr+ of your time quality movies can't be beat all around)
2.Music (this is still solid occasionally especially since it generally takes up less of your time than movies)
3.Book (this can still be nice once in a while to mix things up and for the peach/quiet)

Read a book. But I run hot and cold with reading and don't end up reading as many books as I'd like. The best scenario is reading a Kindle on my computer while listening to music.

watching a movie at night will usually let me forget what problem is on my mind from the day. music won't do that.
