There was a time I really liked Jennifer Lawrence as an actress, but when she brought up politics,"woah lady have you been living under a rock the past 8 years?" Her movies have suffered due to her politics. Mother! was a mess and Red Sparrow I heard is not very good.
She's never really had a good movie outside of the Hunger games and even then the only good ones were the first 2. She needs to understand that if she continues down this road with her politics no one is going to see her movies. Actually a lot of celebs need to understand a lot of people don't care what we think of their politics.

I have a feeling those have more to do with crappy screenplays than her politics.

That too,but no one really went to see Mother because of something stupid she said about how Trump caused the hurricane. Also her Xmen movies may have been good but they weren't good cause of her and if anything she was always the worst part about them. She totally misunderstood the character of Mystique.

So often the reaction when celebrities and athletes get political. Who cares, man? Whether you agree or disagree with them, they have every right. There seems this double standard (especially with the right), that they should just shut up and act/play sports. But hey, let's invite Ted Nugent to the White House. A man who shit his pants to avoid going to Vietnam.

It sounds like you are saying since you heard about her political views, you don't like her movies anymore.

I couldn't care less one way or the other about her politics. Artists' personal lives, opinions, etc. outside of their work never affects my view of their work at all. That's even the case with Hitler. I judge his paintings just like I would if he were some random guy who I know nothing at all about.
I never really liked Lawrence's acting, and something about her screen presence always felt uncomfortable to me. To me, she's always seemed out of place, out of her element, in any role she's done.
At that, I've liked most of the films I've seen her in, and some I love--I love the X-Men films she's in, for example. I just didn't think that she was great personally.

Why would anyone willingly go? And I say that despite having family I'm close to--two uncles, who fought in Vietnam, by the way. They both had their lives saved by getting high. They snuck out of their camp in the middle of the night to get high, and the camp was bombed while they were doing so.

Yeah. I've actually seen it twice, but don't ask me to remember much detail about it now, haha.

That's the only reason she keeps getting cast in movies. If it wasn't for her looks they would stop casting her. She's very similar to Kristen Stewart acting wise. I swear she plays almost the same character in every movie she's in.

I don't think she's that hot, either. I mean, I certainly wouldn't turn her down, but in a room full of 100 random women, I'd probably pick at least 70 over her.
I'd probably think she were hotter if I'd only seen pictures of her. But there's just something about the way she carries herself/the way her personality comes through that kind of turns me off, which is related to why I don't care for her acting, either.
Anyway, personality and the way it's reflected in body language is a big part of attractiveness to me.

It sounds like you are saying since you heard about her political views, you don't like her movies anymore. It's her politics and just her acting in general. She's bad at both.

I wonder where this misconception that entertainers aren't allowed to discuss their politics came about. They have the same rights to express their political beliefs as any blue collar Joe does.
