Yesterday we watched "The Innocents" with Deborah Kerr and this morning we watched "Trick 'r Treat" which I think is the number one Halloween movie (not for young kids). I am having my annual Halloween film festival which I do every October, every day I watch an appropriate movies for this time of the year.

Just finished watching Blithe Spirit (2020)
Not the worst movie i have seen, but i did not really care that much for it.
I will rate it 4/10
But the casting is good, its just not that good of a movie. At least in my personal subjective opinion.

Rewatched Blade Runner (1982) last night. I like it, but I don't think it as a masterpiece as lots of people think nowadays. The pace could be better. Beautiful setup though.

I remember the impression that it was very good the only time I watched it. Yes, it is very good on repeat viewing.

Advise and Consent (1962) I still love the film, but I realized for the first time that what starts out seemingly to be a hard political thriller with the talks of belonging to Communist organizations devolves into an almost soap opera drama with the once hard hitting topic of homosexuality of one of the Senators. I wish the film had centered more on the grilling of Henry Fonda's character rather than the past life of a subcommittee chair and his wife and kid.
