Italian murder mystery comedy made in England. Relatives are gathering at a British estate to hear the will of a recently deceased secluded relative. Tension rises when things doesn't go as plan, for some of them, and people begins to die, by shooting. Scotland Yard detective tries to solve the case, but a dumb-looking local Bobby turns out to be smarter than the detective. A mix of Agatha Christie and Italian Giallo that sadly doesn't work at all. Lot's of Red Herrings, but it's made in a sort of hyper way that didn't appeal to me at all. Pity since the story isn't too bad. A mix of British and Italian actors though the lead is played by American soprano Anna Moffo in a rare dramatic role. The Weekend Murders aka Concerto per pistola solista 1970 directed by Michele Lupo Somerleyton Hall in Suffolk was used as the exteriors.

Girls Town(1959) aka The Innocent and the Damned. Started watching this as the MST3K version, but I find those are more enjoyable with movies I've already seen or plan to never see. This looked like something I might at least enjoy for corny nostalgic reasons, so I found a complete version on YT. Mamie Van Doren plays the bad girl sent to live in a home for wayward girls. Not a great movie but it was kind of fun, for the aforementioned reasons. Especially the dialogue. " Hey, gorgeous. Hi. You new around here, aren't you?" "Fresh out of the box, daddio. What are you doin' in Girlsville?" Mel Torme plays a slimy character and Paul Anka plays a Saint. 4/10.

Lifeboat (1944). A group of survivors from a U Boat attack spend the whole film in a lifeboat. Quite an interesting film with Tallulah Bankhead outstanding.
