Here's hoping 'Rush Hour 4' goes through this time. There was talk about a fourth movie years ago but it didn't happen and instead we ended up getting that awful TV series that was nothing like the movies. I didn't know they were making a 'Scream 5' but I am looking forward to seeing that. Well I don't they are making Scream 5, but I very much wanted one. But now with Wes Craven gone, it's probably for the best that we no longer get it I guess. Unless perhaps Kevin Williamson is able to direct it. Yeah. With Wes Craven gone the possibility of a 'Scream 5' seems less likely now unless Kevin Williamson is involved and I have a feeling the next time we see another 'Scream' movie it is most likely going to be a remake especially with them remaking 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' which is disappointing 'cause I would have preferred a third movie with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddy Prince Jr returning and Jennifer Love Hewitt said in an interview a couple of years ago she wanted to make a third one. Hollywood is on a remake craze though so expect to see a number of Horror movies from the 90s remade next including 'Urban Legend' which is already rumoured to be happening.

I didn't know about I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot. That's a damn shame. A third with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddy Prince Jr would have been nice. Hollywood really sucks. They sure do. With some exceptions all they ever do is make remakes now and while I am a fan of the comic book movie genre they are just taking other people's ideas and turning them into movies so they don't have to come up with anything new themselves. Then there are the gender swapped movies which are the worst and we need more female representation but there are HEAPS of great novels and comic books that have new and unique female characters that would be far better to have on screen than some lame gender swapped remake. I think they do it 'cause it is cheaper to pay for somebody to rewrite an old script and adapt a comic book or novel than pay for somebody to come up with something new. I come across news about the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' remake last year and it is apparently being made by the creative team behind 'Hush' and 'Ouija: Origin of Evil' but I don't think any casting information has been revealed yet.

I thought the Crow sequels weren't that bad, it's just that the first was really good and hard to top. I didn't know there was a TV series - will have to check out that out. The spawn movie was really bad, but I loved the HBO series. I didn't know there was a painkiller jane movie. There was a tv show called painkiller jane which starred the female T300 from Terminator 3, forgot her name. Witchblade, red sonja, danger girl, vampirella and lady death..looking forward to those. Not too familiar with the other titles. Gotta look them up Yeah. I liked most of the sequels and even though they weren't as popular as the first movie I felt 'The Crow: Salvation' and 'City of Angels' had some great scenes and I liked the one where he got inside a car with a criminal and he took his gun off him and put it in his mouth and blew his head off while the guy was screaming and in 'City of Angels' where he drove a car at full speed into a wall with a criminal in it and it blew up and he got out and walked away without a scratch. There was originally going to be 6 movies of 'The Crow' but 'Wicked Prayer' killed the franchise and the fifth one was going to based on the series with Iris Shaw as the Crow. The TV series didn't last very long and a lot of fans didn't like it 'cause it was watered down, was very light in comparison to the moves and they weakened down the character so they could feel pain and didn't heal quickly. Jessica Chastain is playing Jane and producing the 'Painkiller Jane' movie and it is based on the same comic book series the Kristina Lokken TV show was but much like 'The Crow' it was watered down a lot and they straightwashed Jane which was silly since Kristina Lokken is bisexual and ended up playing a lesbian in 'The L Word' after it and in the comic books her partner, Maureen was her main love interest.
Out of the other titles I mentioned 'Hack/Slash' is my favourite and is one worth looking into if you are a Horror fan. It stars Cassie Hack and her friend Vlad (who is 7 foot and looks like Jason Vorhees) going around killing slashers and has featured a lot of Horror characters like Chucky, Freddy Kreuger, Dr Hebert West and Son of Samhain and there was also a team up series with Ash from 'The Evil Dead' and Vampirella recently.
On a related note it doesn't look like we will have to wait too long for the next Crow movie now. The reboot of ‘The Crow’ now has a release date www.nme.com/news/film/the-crow-remake-reborn-movie-release-date-2254672Good to hear the crow is moving forward, and I hope Jason Momoa doesn't back out. And speaking of Ash, I haven't seen season 3 yet. 2 episodes have aired apparently. Do you watch the show?

Robopocalypse - originally had a 2013 release date. then pushed back to 2014. then shelved indefinitely by Spielberg. hopefully one day someone will make this movie whether its spielber or whomever Someday might be soon. Thanks to none other than Michael Bay. Officially, I'm cautiously optimistic.

If done right i think a movie based on the 2001 game Red Faction could be good.

Good to hear the crow is moving forward, and I hope Jason Momoa doesn't back out. And speaking of Ash, I haven't seen season 3 yet. 2 episodes have aired apparently. Do you watch the show? I don't think he will. The movie is looking more secure every day and it is either going to be a major hit or a major flop depending on what it is like. I know a lot of people who loved the first movie and have been waiting for a new one so I see it having a good chance and another movie we just got an update for is the new 'Spawn' movie which has just been reported to start filming in May. I am not sure how it is going to go with all the changes Todd has made to it and Spawn not being the lead character but it could turn out to be awesome and we will just have to wait and see. I have watched 'Ash vs the Evil Dead' and have the first two seasons on DVD. I haven't seen season 3 yet 'cause I prefer to wait until the show comes out on DVD to watch it but I think it is a good show and I heard Bruce recently say there could also be another 'Evil Dead' movie coming out soon. 'Hack/Slash' is somewhat similar to that except Cassie and Vlad face a variety of different monsters and famous villains from Horror movies. The 'Army of Darkness vs Hack/Slash' was good and it was fun seeing Cassie and Ash together.
