Don't know how romantic this is but it is a night I will always remember. A bunch of us were going camping and some invited some girls to go. I asked a girl to go that I had never been out with but always wanted to. She said yes. We were all having a blast drinking beer and wine around the camp fire. She said do you want to go for a ride and I said why not. She then went in my tent and grabbed a blanket. Well I drove to a secluded cemetery and put the blanket out. Right there under a million stars we did it not once but twice. We dated for two years until I went in the service. But that was a night to remember.

i have two that stand out. not dates per se but "meeting people" in a way that i find romantic for some reason.
1. I ran an all night diner a while back, and a guy that was there as a customer asked me for me phone number. i told him i dont give out my number to strangers, that i only give it out to my friends or employees. he smiled and said it was too bad. the night went on and my suis-chef cut herself and had to be taken to the hospital. we were one person short in the kitchen for a couple of very busy hours. this guy saw what was going on and offered to help out in the kitchen, and said (and proved) he had experience. at the end of the night he asked for my number again and said that since now he worked for me for a few hours I need to give him my number. i did. we dated for 3 years after that. probably the best guy i ever dated.
2. I worked in an office, the phone rang, i answer and there is a guy with a heavy french sounding accent asking for my boss. I told him that he got the wrong office, and gave him my bosses number. i remember thinking "wow, that was one sexy voice". A week later, the phone rings again and its the same guy, again calling my office for my boss. This time he knew he had called the wrong number but says he had lost my bosses number and needs it again. I give it to him and we chit chat for like 5 minutes. I know it may sound odd, but i remember already at that point that there was a palpable "connection". He gives me his number and asks me to give it to my boss directly. I do that and confirm to him via text. A few days later he texts me saying "what if i told you i lost his number again, would you believe me?" and I say "maybe, but I would also think you are a moron" and he says "what if I am not a moron but just a guy that wants to ask you out". We dated for a year after that. Also a great guy.
as for "dates" - maybe that one where i came home and the guy was naked on the bed, holding a rose in between his teeth, and candles everywhere leading from the door to the bed. that was pretty nice too. yes i am a sucker for romance and romantic gestures.

Sadly, none. I'll admit I have not dated much. In fact, my first boyfriend asked me out and then we never actually went anywhere. Not even for a slice of pizza.
Second one... Oh good, I can't. The train wreck. The horror.

Most people probably wouldn't consider it romantic but it was my favorite first date to this very day. I had briefly moved to FL for a few years. The very first guy I dated while in FL, he took me to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. Although, we only dated for a few months, this was definitely my kind of date and we had so much fun.
