Some parrots can live up to 80 years old!
I like the idea that my pet will eventually attend my funeral... And depending on the vocal abilities of the species- maybe give the eulogy!

I've got two budgies, Steve and Eydie. Sometimes Eydie lets Steve ride the little swing, sometimes not.

No, but the local wild birds visit our back veranda quite often. Same here I see pigeons everyday. They've made a nest on our roof. |

I think birds would make terrible pets, most pet birds Ive seen often exhibited violent and destructive behavior as they languished in home confinement or their cages. They crave freedom more than any other pet. |

My brother had a budgie, he loved sallad leafs, in fact he got angry and told my mother to hurry up with a new sallad leafs LOL.
Little Pip! the little bird that entered our lives. he had blue feathers and a yellow head, you don't see those anymore.
