The trick is tensing all your fingers together to begin with and focusing on moving your middle and ring finger in opposite directions while tensed-- like opening a pair of scissors-- and going slow and steady; even a quarter of an inch at a time. If your pinky is separated from your ring finger, you're using the wrong tendons. You'll notice the burn if you start getting it right. Instead of trying to move your middle and ring finger in opposite direction.... just open your hand as large as you can and move your index and pinky finger towards the middle. Ta-da

I can do it very easily with my left hand. My right hand, less so. I'm training it and making good progress, though. In addition, I feel like I spend my time well. I do. You just need to practice streching the gap by force thats the quickest and easyiest way to do it

Both hands. Easy. Turn it sideways and you've got "nanu nanu".

Turn it sideways and you've got "nanu nanu". Upside down and it's Spock's genitals. <-- The joke that got me kicked out of a high school Physics class when I couldn't stop laughing. The guy who told the joke? No punishment at all - still fair, though.

It's easier with my right hand, which is strange considering I'm left handed and do most things with my left. Takes some experimenting to pull off naturally.

Yeah, easily with both hands.
Though, my right hand starts to feel uncomfortable a lot faster than my left.
