I can do it very easily with my left hand. My right hand, less so. I'm training it and making good progress, though. The trick is tensing all your fingers together to begin with and focusing on moving your middle and ring finger in opposite directions while tensed-- like opening a pair of scissors-- and going slow and steady; even a quarter of an inch at a time. If your pinky is separated from your ring finger, you're using the wrong tendons. You'll notice the burn if you start getting it right. In addition, I feel like I spend my time well. I do.

Of course. I can control and contort every part of my body at will. Try this for fun. Do the Vulcan salute with both hands simultaneously and then reverse it by keepingthe 2 middle fingers together and end fingers separate making a W with your fingers. That requires Q like control.

With both hands, though not easily, it requires some effort.

Only left handed. If I try right, two fingers go out and two go in.

Nope. Which is why I gave up on the guitar.
