The Godfather III was better than the second one in the trilogy. WOW! I can't agree with one iota of that, but cheers to you...I think that that's the one to beat in terms of unpopular opinions. Yep. Beat this one Boys!! (& Girls too!!)

The Godfather III was better than the second one in the trilogy. Shouldn't the opinion at least be remotely possible? Of course. That was why I picked it.

8 Crazy Nights is not that bad of a movie and is even kind of funny
I all of a sudden feel a great sense of shame.

Fifty Shade of Grey is a better movie than Magnolia.

just because a famous person rants and raves about something [tony soprano and the godfather] doesn't mean whatever they are raving about is up to scratch.
many democrats are closet racists. others are racist but out of the closet.
I am surprised some movies made it to 'remake level' when their original was crap. the Thomas crown affair original was painful, the remake was amazing! [and realistic]
all races have the capacity for humanity. it is how these people are raised that matters.
people are in charge of their own lives and destinies.

Pretty simple. Post some unpopular opinions about any topic that you hold. Mine: ‘The Quick and the Dead’ is the best western ever made. I just finished 'Godless' on Netflix last night. Really enjoyed it.

My 'unpopular' opinions.
- Psychedelics should be legal
- The more time a person spends on their cell phone - the less conscious they are
- If you're fat, it's your fault
- 'Political correctness' is stupid
- Tattoos should be mandatory
- Porn is bad
- If an animal is not fighting or attempting to run away, consent is implied
- The stories in the Bible don't need to be true to be important
- Every God ever imagined exists

Dances With Wolves OVER Goodfellas. Lots of people will say that GF should have gotten Best Picture Oscar instead of DWW. Not I. I liked GF a lot, but I LOVED DWW.

Pop/Rock music is all just generic cap
Interstellar is the best movie ever made
Orson Scott Card is the best author alive.
Don't even get me started on political/philosophical views.

Interstellar is the best movie ever made Not to derail this thread, because I know the point is to be controversial, but I'm curious about what you think of this. My argument for why Interstellar doesn't make any sense: Explain to me how we're supposed to believe this: 1. Professor John Brand can’t solve the gravity equation because… 2. They need more data to solve the equation. They needed to see inside a black hole. 3. TARS goes into the black hole in an attempt to retrieve the quantum data needed to solve the gravity equation. 4. TARS relays the quantum data to Cooper in Morse code. Cooper in turn relays the quantum data to Murph, in Morse code, through the hands of a wrist watch. 5. Murph somehow knows it’s her father relaying quantum data to her through the watch. Explain to me how we're supposed to believe Murph magically realizes it's her father speaking to her in the house, and that he's relaying quantum data to her in Morse code through the watch. How does that make any sense? Well it's been a while since I have seen it but Cooper gave her that watch so she associated it with Cooper (not that that's a valid reason to think it was Cooper). It was really just wishful thinking on her part because she missed him so much. But again it's been a while since I have seen it so maybe there is a valid reason for her to think it's Cooper.

DWW was spoilt for me because the female lead playing the Indian girl had 'modern hair'(all layered and permed)! It was SO distracting that I can't remember much else about that movie. I HATE that~

Some music opinions that may ruffle a few feathers:
Waiting for the Sun>Doors debut
Loaded> White Light/White Heat
Hole>Nirvana
Presence> Led Zeppelin IV
"London Calling" would have been better as a single album. And it still wouldn't be as good as almost any Jam album.
Joy Division should have just completely broken up instead of reforming as Depeche Mode Lite
Smiths are great at singles and album tracks, rather inconsistent studio albums
Pink Floyd bores me to tears

Fair enough, butt seeing as she was supposed to have been brought up by Indians without access to scissors to cut bangs/fringe let alone fashionable late 80's layer cut and perm it totally ruined the authenticity of the whole thing for me. www.imdb.com/title/tt0099348/mediaviewer/rm635720960She looks like a slightly scruffed up brunette version of Farrah Fawcett Majors!

Conspiracy theorists and anti-choicers are scum of the scum, on about the same level as child molesters. It should be legal to kill them, cut them into pieces, fry them, and feed them to carnivores. Not necessarily in that order.

How does that make any sense? Not sure it's magical. Murphy and eventually her father realize that something extraordinary is happening and Murph always felt it as a presence although her father was more skeptical. Basically, Murphy always knew it was a "who", she just didn't know who the "who" was until the epiphany that was helped by the watch given to her in love from her father.
