Dunkirk but I'm sure they will give it to Get Out for SJW reasons.

Some odd rants going on in this thread, no updates from those convinced Get Out was going to win? Honestly the Oscars rarely make sense to me but I understand it as a hype machine for the industry. There's nothing wrong with that as long as you don't take it too seriously.
The Shape of Water seems like a silly movie to me, particularly for a Best Picture winner. But I haven't seen it so maybe it really does live up to the hype. Three Billboards was awful so I guess I'm glad that didn't win-- but again you shouldn't take the Academy Awards too seriously either way. Just view them as a biased celebration of film, filled with agendas like any other voting process.

Last year at this time, the perfect Rotten Tomatoes score for "Get Out" was ruined by the critic who favored "Grown Ups" over "The Dark Knight".
Some of these "'Get Out' is gonna win" folks just wanted something to fit their argument. Both "The Shape of Water"- which fit in the Cold War, racism, and homophobia- and the musical The Greatest Showman (only nominated for best original song) would have done the same thing.

Nice poll. Wow, 'Get Out' got hammered. It still won Best Original Screenplay. By that standard, Pulp Fiction also got hammered. That movie had more nominations back in 1994. If anyone wants to celebrate movies getting nothing last night, there's Lady Bird and The Post.

Lol Shape of Water with 1 vote It's so hard to admit that you voted for the movie that actually won best picture last night. Not everyone is a Nolan fanboy.
