yeah, ive had some weird experiences with Alexa too. I kept asking her about death and dying and it kept saying it doesn't know anything about it but eventually tried to make me "talk to someone about it" :-DD
I cant wait for the AI to get slightly better than it is now. It still sucks so much in understanding humans. My computer thinks I am a guy, and most of the "targeted advertising" is completely out of the zone of my interests or it keeps offering me goods that I clicked on ONCE randomly when a friend sent me a link of what THEY were looking at/finding funny/disgusting.
My biggest regret is clicking on a site offering carpets, as one of my friends was competing in a carpet design contest so I was interested to compare "whats out there". I never had the slightest interesting in buying a carpet (dont own any, dont want any) but now its been TWO FRIGGING MONTHS and the carpet site is chasing me around all over the internet on my phone. The worst is that because its so aggressive (and slides across the display when you least expect it etc) I accidentally clicked on it a few times by mistake so now it TOTALLY thinks I want to buy a carpet and will probably NEVER leave me alone.
I am sure when I die there will be carpet on my grave, since my relatives will probably look at my phone and think: oh, poor girl, she was trying to buy a carpet but didn't make it before she dropped dead, chocking on a piece of cabbage. We should buy her a carpet at least for her afterlife.

Don't worry about it, unless you hear it say, "My name is Alexa, and I'm going to kill you."
