I have five of the graphic novels and didn't know there was an audio adaption of them but I am not surprised it goes for 11 hours 'cause it is a very long story like 'Batman Eternal' was and I am hoping they use it to bring in some of the characters that were in the graphic novels that haven't been in 'Gotham' yet but I don't think we will see Lex Luthor in it. Those audio adaptations are like radio dramas, or movies playing in your mind. Some of the other audio adaptations are original and others are based off comics like Final Crisis, Civil War, Days of Future Past and Crisis on Infinite Earths. Most are 4 to 6 hours. Some of them are on YouTube but quickly taken down for copyright reasons. Even if Luthor isn't there, I think it's ok. I would like to see how they adapt the arc to fit the current storyline. Currently on the tailend of season 1 of Gotham and will work my way thru the rest as time permits. Ohh okay. I have seen a few audio adaptions of DC graphic novels on Amazon but have never bought them before. I have been buying some novels based on comic books and there are actually a few Batman novels on Amazon and a novel of 'Darkchylde' which I enjoyed and I would like to see them write some more novels based on comic books 'cause it is so different reading them in novel form and you hear parts of the story that weren't in the original adaptions. Have you read the novel of 'Suicide Squad' by Marv Wolfman? It is based on the movie but there is said to be a lot added to it by Marv that wasn't in the movie and many fans have said it is better and the movie should have followed Marv's novel. It is good to hear you have started watching 'Gotham' again and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Season 2 which was one of the best in my opinion and featured the debut of Tabitha and a version of Azrael. One thing I am interested in is how they are going to portray Poison Ivy in the episodes ‘cause in ‘No Man’s Land’ she was portrayed as a hero who protected the children in the Gotham Orphanage and provided food to people who were affected by the earthquake. Poison Ivy goes back and forth from being a villain in DC comics as most of you know but for the past 20 years she has been portrayed as more of a hero helping Batman, Batgirl, Catwoman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman and Black Canary and being a member of the Birds of Prey. From what one of the writers at DC recently said Poison Ivy is set to become more like Catwoman and will be an antihero that helps the other heroes from now on but at the same time will still be an echo terrorist that does some things the other superheroes won’t be fond of so ‘Gotham’ could end with Poison Ivy as a antihero using her powers for good. ‘No Man’s Land’ was one of the first stories that made Poison Ivy more of a hero than a villain and was a big changing point for her character in the comic books.
Another villain that was in the the ‘No Man’s Land’ graphic novels was Two Face and looking at all the changes they have made with the villains in ‘Gotham’ I wouldn’t be surprised if they bring Harvey back soon and make him Two Face early ‘cause it would give them another major Batman villain in ‘Gotham and a crime lord that is opposition for the Penguin.

It's been a long time since we saw Harvey Dent. I imagine the actor is busy elsewhere and unavailable, meaning we won't see Two-Face. So I think someone else will step into the Two-Face role.

I don't know. I think we will see Harvey Dent again before the show ends 'cause he is one of Batman's most famous villains and with characters like Poison Ivy and The Scarecrow getting new actors playing them it is very possible Harvey will be recast if the actor is too busy with other things to return to the show.

Just try and get an actor who resembles the original. Don't want to have a repeat of what happened in the Burton-Schumacher Batman films.

I like the Arrow's version of the character better. I haven't read much into Deadshot in the comics so I don't know which version is more accurate, but when I look at the film I don't see Deadshot, only Will Smith playing a character. l

The movie is far from being great and Harley was one of the only good things about it in my opinion. I wasn't a fan of the new version of the Joker and he might grow on me and get better in the next movie he is in but compared to all the other versions we have seen of the character this one just didn't feel like the Joker at all and actually felt more like a copycat. I didn't like their smaller version of Killer Croc and I didn't think it made sense to have a half human half crocodile who is supposed to be huge in size and eat people and enjoy ripping their flesh apart on a team. Killer Croc works better as a Horror character to me and I would love to see a 'Batman' movie with Killer Croc as the main villain but with the version we see in the Arkham games written as a Horror movie where he kills heaps of people and we see blood and guts and people getting torn apart. I am still interested in seeing the sequel though and I am mostly interested in seeing the new additions. According to the rumours I have read Killer Frost will be in 'Suicide Squad 2.'

So far: CW Flash > JL Flash CW Deadshot > SS Deadshot DCEU Superman > CW Superman, though it's very close CW Constantine > movie Constantine

And here I was thinking I was the only one that remembered the Constantine movie with Keanu Reeves. I didn't even know it was a DC movie when I saw it and went to the movies thinking it was a new Horror flick. That was a different Constantine than the one we have on Legends. Is this Constantine more like the comics or was Keanu Reeves closer?

Matt Ryan is a lot closer than Keanu. Doesn't stop me from enjoying the Keanu movie.

I don't know if you have seen the animated movie, 'Assault on Arkham' but she was one of the members of the Suicide Squad in that and it is possible we might see the other members from that appear in this movie. I think Deathstroke would have been a good addition for the sequel but judging by the ending of 'Justice League' it appears they have other plans for the characters to he won't be in it. The only thing I know for certain is it was confirmed more 'Suicide Squad' members are going to be in the sequel and the rumours about Killer Frost sound like they are going to turn out to be right but the question will be if she is Killer Frost or Frost. I agree with your comparisons for the characters in the movies and TV shows and while we haven't seen much of him in the movies yet I think 'Arrow's' version of Deathstroke will remain the best. I liked 'Arrow's version of Deadshot and a lot of fans were dissappointed when they stopped 'Arrow' from using him and I also liked 'Arrow's' version of Katana and I heard they can use the character again now and have plans to bring her back at some point. I would have liked to have seen what 'Arrow's version of Harley Quinn would have been like and it really is a shame they blocked them from using her 'cause we haven't had a character like that in any of these shows.

I knew it was based on a DC comics but I haven't read any. Maybe that was a good thing as I've read some critics saying the character was different from the comics. Whatever the case may be, I liked the movie especially the hell scenes after Keanu picked up the cat. I also think his wooden performance suited the character too. Matt Ryan's take is ok though.

Keanu's Constantine is interesting because he's both similar to the comics character and yet different from him as well. Personality wise he's spot on. But being a dark haired American is a major change.
i always think Keanu's wooden performance suits his characters. Whether it's the stoic John Wick, the blank slate Neo, or the repressed Jonathan Harker it always works instead of being a hinderance.

Netflix is developing a movie called Past Midnight about a vigilante superhero and they want Keanu to star. The character is original and will be produced by the Russo brothers. Vigilante superhero, he might actually get to play a character like Batman after all, or maybe John Wick with powers

Last animated Bat flick I saw was Gotham by Gaslight and it was good, though not as good as Batman vs Dracula, my favorite.

This is kinda off topic already, but your post reminded of Lewis Wilson, the very first Batman who portrayed the character in a 1943 serial.

Small role? He was the star of the movie. Or am I missing something here? I'm talking about the character. Constantine is no Superman or Batman. I didn't know he was a DC superhero. Keanu is a big name. Why didn't they use him for a more popular hero?
