Wow. I'm not a fan of watching movies that are more than about 2h 15min or so, mainly due to time restraints. Hopefully it won't feel too long. I've been waiting for this movie a while and I don't want to start criticizing it in its pre-release.

It's all relative. If the movie is good and paced right 2.5 hours could be too short. If a movie is plodding along and you happen to be 12 in a movie theater watching Mosquito Coast 1 hour and 57 minutes could be a freaking life time long.

If a movie is plodding along and you happen to be 12 in a movie theater watching Mosquito Coast 1 hour and 57 minutes could be a freaking life time long. Did your parents think it was a family vacation adventure by way of Indiana Jones or something? |

Way too short if you ask me. This movie has to introduce Thor to the Guardians, re-introduce all the Avengers and show their whereabouts, introduce all the new characters, and introduce Thanos. There's no way all of that, plus all the other token action scenes and world-building moments that come with a CBM, can fit in a 2 hour 36 minute movie.
That means that someone is getting short-changed. My money's on Thanos; and I don't like that.
