Seriously? They are? Damn, they're reaching deep into the wider cosmic stuff. But anyway, short summary: he's a 'hero' from the future that uses technology from his old timeline initially to become a sort of publicity seeking glory hound. As the arc with such characters go, he becomes more altruistic.

Would it be pitch perfect casting if Armie Hammer played him?

I only know of Booster Gold from his appearances in the Justice League Unlimited cartoon.

Always wanted Booster Gold to be Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk voicing Skeets. Nathan might be too old now at 46

I only know of Booster Gold from his appearances in the Justice League Unlimited cartoon. Same. And he may have showed up in a few crossovers I've read.

When I first heard about the character as a kid, I misheard his name as Boost Your Gold. Seemed odd that a hero would want to advertise his propensity for stealing gold in his superhero codename. j/s

I have a whole bunch of Booster Gold comics in my collection and have no idea how I got them, nor do I remember ever reading any of them.

Always wanted Booster Gold to be Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk voicing Skeets. Nathan might be too old now at 46 Was also going to mention Fillion. Booster is basically a super self-centered guy who is a hero for all the wrong reasons, not exactly similar to any heroes today, depending on how they portray Shazam. Most egotistical heroes were self-centered before they became a hero, then that process taught them compassion. But Booster became a hero so he could be adored. It would be a pretty unique perspective.

You know, since they're gonna need more heroes in the DCEU in two or three years at the rate the original lineup is dropping out.

Would it be pitch perfect casting if Armie Hammer played him? IMO this would be beneath Armie Hammer. Booster Gold is basically a buffoon who travels from the future to our present and uses future tech as super powers to gain fame and fortune. There are SO many other characters I would rather see done before this.
