There are lots of topics that are covered but its the slant of the subject which is limited.
So for example in Life of Brian they lampooned religion etc, but they included something about Zionism and despite the fact that it was funded by one of the Beatles, they had to cut the scene because it would have been banned by US distributors (so much for the idea that it is all about making money).
WW 2 is very much a slanted subject. Has any movie ever covered why people elected the National Socialists?
Has any movie talked about the Ukrainian famine by the Soviets?
How about a biopic about the test pilot Hanna Reitsch?
I watched the 1971 Hollywood film about the Romanoffs and they were incredibly vague about it-they didnt even show the executions (because the historical documentation suggests it was quite a sadistic affair).
Animal stories are very much a limited subject in Hollywood.
Disney did Bambi and Dumbo, but the other studios (with the exception of RKO-Kong, Most Dangerous Game, Androcles and the Lion) avoided animal rights issues for decades.
There was an incident in London in 1905 called the Brown Dog Affair--in which medical students went on a rampage in the streets to tear down a statue of a dog. It would make a great movie I bet-but Hollywood is not interested.
How about a film about David Kelly, the bioweapons expert who committed suicide right around the time the US and UK started to invade Iraq.

Hollywood likes to pat itself on the back for how it enlightens and educates and functions as a "moral compass," etc., etc. How about a movie about how the Hollywood moguls of the 1930s swept the rise of Nazism in Europe under the rug because they were afraid of losing their European profits? Not only did they reject projects which were seen to be critical of the German government, they even had a Nazi censor working in Hollywood who examined scripts for any material which was seen to be anti-Nazi. It was only when the war began in Europe that Hollywood finally figured out which way the wind was blowing and quickly began churning out patriotic "evil empire" stuff.

1993 Waco, Texas and David Koresh I suppose you mean big screen cinema feature film because I just got done watching a weekly 1 hour 6 part TV mini-series on it and there was another TV movie on it before.

The movie industry scandal of a sleazy producer raping and sexual misconduct with women while we have a president who does the same thing....
Mass shootings and the gun debate Let's see if they would have the guts to have a cop shoot and kill an armed teacher or a teacher who shoots and kills a cop.
Cops killing blacks who are unarmed

It was only when the war began in Europe that Hollywood finally figured out which way the wind was blowing and quickly began churning out patriotic "evil empire" stuff. Hollywood was working for a war in Europe behind the scenes. This was confirmed by Charles Lindbergh quotes among others. Jack Warner was very much pro-war. There was also an economic boycott by American and UK Jews against Germany in 1933. The problem for Hollywood was that average Americans were very much NOT interested in being killed for someone else's war. Crazy right? Why didnt they want to be maimed and killed to protect globalist bankers? It was only after Japan's attack on pearl harbor that the mood changed. And then, after the war, all the war propaganda stopped. Why? Because people who were maimed and killed in the war didnt consider it a victory. WW 2 films didnt start up again until the 60s. Speaking of which, the USS Liberty attack was completely swept under the carpet--and what a movie it would make. Clear sunny day, a US communications ship is attacked for two hours by Israeli military. They even machine gun the lifeboats. Lyndon Johnson helps cover it up. They won't even give the captain of the ship a medal in full media spotlight. Years later, israeli pilots confirm that they were ordered to attack the shop. That is grand movie material but Hollywood won't touch it and if an indie company did it they would blackmail and punish anyone who was involved in it.

Ewwwwwwww! Would you pay to see that Nora? since i see everything then my answer is yes I don't have any special desire to see a movie about menstruation, no, but, its odd that it almost never comes up in any movie. something that affects half the population for most of their lives. movies cover going to the toilet (both number one and number two) as well as farting or puking fairly often. for comedic purposes or otherwise. how is menstruation worse? i was pleasantly surprised to see it be used as a powerful (comedic/atmospheric) tool in The Florida Project. They should have up the ante by using a dirtier pad though. no you know what? I WOULD like to see a whole segment dedicated to menstruation in a movie. It doesn't have to be gross. It can be funny. But omitting its existence in movies entirely is just odd. When its something half of us experience every month. I want to see a girl fighting not to sneeze because she is on her period. And I want to see the aftermath of it if she loses that battle. I want to see a girl walking funny because she is afraid she is leaking. I want to see a girl trying to fish a tampon out of herself that lost the string. I want to see a girl being scared/amused by whats coming out of her. And yes I want to see period sex in a movie. And I want to see the audience react to it.

I can only think of a few films off hand, that cover menstruation, or include it into their context: CARRIE, all three versions- 76, 02 and 13' AN ANGEL AT MY TABLE-91' CLUELESS-95'
