The ONLY thing that Bryan Cranston, Michael Fassbender, Liam Neeson and Robert Mitchum have in common with both Randolph Scott and the as yet unnamed actor is height. Being OVER 6' tall. The guy I'm referring to looks like he could EASILY pass for RS's grandson. He started in films in the late nineties and is almost forty.

This is more difficult than waiting for a solution to the Infamous
Search for the Sleuth Singer.

EDIT .., just saw this Marvelous Give-Away CLUE" OVER 6' tall". It's GOT to BE (drum roll please) .... I, a great mind? Nay, nay, my friend, as I completely missed that give-away clue that pointed to the six-foot, three-and-a-half-inch tall invisible rabbit (in the conservatory, with the revolver). Kicking myself for not seeing the obvious! * Cue the Jimmy Finlayson/Homer Simpson effect—“d’oh!”* But I’m aghast and offended that this is even more difficult than the infamous, notorious, well-recorded in the annals of history Search for the Sleuth Singer, which is apparently the equal of the Holy Grail, the Ark of the Covenant, the Amber Room, Kidd’s Treasure, and Excalibur combined. (Hey—there’s an idea for the next Indiana Jones flick! Indiana Jones and the Singer in Sleuth!)

'Nuther mystery has been added to this marvelous "Who in heck looks 50% like Randolph Scott?" quandry and puzzlement that has the Internet ABUZZZZZZZZ ! 'Tis "WHO stole the IMAGE of the HARVEY Poster ? Egads and Gadzooks combined !
As for the next installment in the Indiana Jones Saga .... VUNDERBAR !, Nalkarj strikes the Nail on the HEAD yet Again ! The CHIMP writer/typists are available as the BRITISH Marple Tale is on indefinite hold because of severe Writers Block not to mention that they have forgotten the OFFICIAL Working Title. Dopey Chimps.... shudda hired Monkeys as was suggested. Oh well, water under the damn.
Perhaps a script conference is called for .... HEY ! CONFERENCE !! 'cmere !

'Tis "WHO stole the IMAGE of the HARVEY Poster ? Egads and Gadzooks combined ! Egads and gadzooks indeed, but the Harvey poster really isn’t showing up for you anymore? Is it another one besides the one with the bright yellow background? Because I see that. Spielberg and Lucas have just called me and let me know that they’re blowing nearly all of their budget for the next Indy picture on paying me for the Sleuth idea, so I’m gonna live like a king for the rest of my days! (“OK, now wake up from your dream, Salzmank.”) Thank God that the chimp-writers are available for Indiana Jones and the Sleuth Singer—I’m expecting a great deal of classical references, as befits those brilliant primates. But I am disappointed that the masterpiece that is Die Hard while Knitting has been put on hold; I had heard that Michael Bay was considering the directing job? And a question remains: have those chimps finished the complete works of Shakespeare yet?

RE: Your missive re: THE Missing Harvey I have edited my earlier edit about the Harvey Poster and the SWAT team has been sent back to the station. All that can be seen here is the ominous little black square of great renown BUT I know what it looked like so am not too concerned. GREAT news about Steve and George ! Die Hard While Knitting's hold is temporary I am sure ... the writers are on vacation now and eating lots of brain food (banana and peanut butter sandwiches mostly). Thanks for the title reminder, Nalkarj, l@@ks like I could use a couple of those sandwiches too.
RE: Chimps and the works of Wm S. Funny you should ask. They were doing just fine and progressing quite nicely until they tried to adapt "Timon of Athens" as a Christmas Story (Jimmy Stewart was being considered for the starring role)... fights broke out, things got ugly ... ya know how it goes with CHUMPS
CHIMPS Project also back-burnered for the time being so the crew is available.

Aaron Edward Eckhart Born March 12, 1968 in Cupertino, California, USA Height 6' (1.83 m) "CLUES" so far 6' 3" color of eyes ? unknown He started in films in the late nineties and is almost forty. "Donald Duck" was the closest guess. Looks "somewhat .. maybe 50% like RS" op seems to have gone awol Doghouse6

Looked like a good guess tho' Doghouse6 ... thing is these little puzzlers seem to go on forever as the OP likes to string them out and vanishes periodically .. shudda seen the quote ones where the actual quotation was approximate and half the people who tried to "solve" turned out to be on the notorious "ignore list"... technology .. gotta love it. ~ So doggie not a bad doggie after all !
