You left Supernatural off your list. That show jumped the shark a long time ago but I gotta congratulate the writers behind this season because it's fairly good. Nothing special but I want to see what happens next. Yes. I completely forgot about it but you are right, 'Supernatural' has been a big improvement this season especially in comparison to some more of the more recent seasons of the show and I think they have a good story going with the alternative universes that could lead to a lot of places next season 'cause we have no idea what is inside of some of these universes like we saw a massive monster that was the size of a building in one and some of the beings have already got out like the one at the end of the 'Wayward Sisters' episode. I think Michael will still be the main villain next season and won't get into our universe until the final episode.

Supernatural is one of those shows I've heard a lot about. Mostly that the first five seasons are the best and it's been embarrassing since then. I would find out for myself, but with fifteen seasons that task is a tad overwhelming.

Although I liked the sixth season just as much with the exception of the handling of one villain and thought it had some really good episodes like one where Balthazar went back in time and saved the Titanic 'cause he hated the movie and Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' , another where Sam and Dean are sent to an alternate universe where they are Jared Padalecki and Jensen Jackles and the stars of a hit TV show called 'Supernatural' and an episode where they had to face fairies. I also liked the Sam losing his soul storyline and the rest of the seasons haven't been as good as the previous seasons but they have had some good episodes and the main problem with the show for me is it always seems the build ups are for nothing and when they face the villain/s at the end of the seasons they are always disappointing like when Clark faced Doomsday in Season 8 of 'Smallville.'

I could never stay mad at you sweetie. What was that universe with the big monster and who were all the little guys in robes? Where they its minions? That world looked fun. Damn. I want to see a season where they are trapped there.

I think that was meant to be the set up for the 'Wayward Sisters' TV show but I am not sure what is happening with that now and it looks like it might not be going through. I think we will see more of the other universes next season though and I don't know what that universe was but I liked that we finally got monsters in monster forms in 'Supernatural' and would like to see more too.

Hey, those are actually similar looking but no, it wasn't that universe. Right now they have an evil Michael from the alternate universe trying to come over to take over our universe and Gabriel was recently discovered to still be alive and is helping them now along with Lucifer who they can't trust. Being a Catholic I am not sure what you would make of the show. They have changed a lot of things with the bible and they have good angels and bad angels and God is alive in 'Supernatural' and was a guy called Chuck who wrote all these novels about Sam and Dean to become famous. He is kinda an asshole who only cares about himself and Lucifer is still evil but has helped them and isn't the main villain anymore. I can't remember if I asked but did you see 'The Prophecy' movies?

With Christopher Walken, right? I saw the first one but not the sequel. I've always been able to separate my faith from pop culture. It's how I can enjoy Garth Ennis' Preacher. I might disagree with their theology, but I don't hold it against them and judge it on everything else and not this one thing.
Besides, a lot of Christian's get their faith wrong. Believing in a vengeful God who hates humanity and sends them to Hell. Why should they be surprised when nonbelievers feel the same way and build upon that view?

There are 5 movies in the franchise but 'The Prophecy 4 and 5' are awful and didn't have Christopher Walken or any real connection to the first three movies that continued on from one another. They also had Satan instead of Lucifer and made Satan a separate character. I think the first three with Christopher Walken as Gabriel were the best and you should check out 2 and 3 if you were a fan of the first movie 'cause they are pretty good. Without spoiling anything for you Gabriel is actually good in the third movie and he changes after he spends time on earth and comes to like humans. I heard there is talk of a remake and I just hope it is better than the last two. Angels are often portrayed as good and bad in movies and TV shows and there was one I watched called 'Gabriel' where Michael was the villain and another called 'Legion' where Michael was good and Gabriel was the villain. Do you believe in Archangels as a Catholic or are they all angels to you? I heard some religions don't believe in Archangels or use the term.

Four and five don't sound like they belong in the franchise. Like the last two Return of the Living Dead films.
We have four archangels in Catholicism: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. There is a great deal of levels within the angelic hierarchy. Archangels, powers, dominions, thrones, virtues, principalities, seraphim, cherubim, and angels.
There are good angels, who remain part of the heavenly choir, and bad angels, who rebelled and were cast out, becoming demons. In folklore there was a third group, who didn't choose a side, being cast out of Heaven but we're too good for Hell, becoming the fair folk.

It was another example of a movie studio trying to cash in on the success of the previous films by making movies that have nothing to do with the original movies under the title to trick people into watching them. I have lost count of how many times I have seen studios do this now and it is very annoying and the 'Silent Night, Deadly Night' series is a great example of it and the franchise started out with a movie about a psychotic killer murdering people dressed up as Santa Claus and in the sequel it was his brother that did it and by the fifth movie it was about a group of demons kidnapping women to impregnate them with baby demons. I feel sorry for the creators of the original movies 'cause most of them never envisioned their movies being dragged so far down in the dirt. Thanks for letting me know about the archangels. In "Supernatural' Lucifer was the first Archangel and he was cast out and created demons but he cares very little about demons and is all about himself. I believe Ariel was also an Archangel in 'Supernatural' but I can't remember now.
There have been a lot of angels in 'Supernatural' and Castiel has been the most popular one and is the third main star. I like Castiel more than Sam and Dean and he is my favourite character on the show.

Just thought I would bump this thread and ask what shows everybody is watching now? Since I last posted on here we have watched 'Marvel's the Gifted' and we enjoyed that show and we are currently watching the final season of '12 Monkeys', 'The Crossing', 'Falling Skies', 'Bitten', 'The Handmaid's Tale' and 'Haven' and will be watching 'Cloak & Dagger' and 'Sharp Objects' when they air here for the first time next month.

I got a lot of shows lined up on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Crunchyroll. So many I can't decide where to start.
So I have decided to rent all the straight to video Scooby-Doo movies released annually since 1998 instead.

I have heard of all the others you mentioned but have never heard of that one. Is that another online streaming service with different shows on it like Netflix or a Pay TV company like we have here with Foxtel? There are a lot of Scooby-Doo movies so that will most likely keep you occupied for some time and we have just started re-watching the first seasons of 'Travelers' and 'Wynnona Earp' and out of all the current shows 'Travelers' is my favourite and Mackenzie is so amazing in it.

I am a work of art but you are the masterpiece girl. If the people here knew how gorgeous you are they'd all be crazy about you like me. What happened to Wayward Daughters?
