I want a Jody & Mary show, I think Wayward Sisters had a little too many meh-able aspects to it, Jody deserves her own show though and Mary away from the family drama could be a blast, plus crossovers and keeps with the Supernatural appeal of limited cast to keep cost low, just no Donna or whatever her name is...she irks me.

Look who the shy one is now. You are gorgeous sweetie and you're God damn sexy when you're being cute. I joke all the time about how sexy and perfect I am and it's true. I am a work of art but you are the masterpiece girl. If the people here knew how gorgeous you are they'd all be crazy about you like me. What happened to Wayward Daughters? Well, you're very sweet which is one of the reasons I love you but I wouldn't say I am that sexy and perfect. Although, I know I am not bad. 'Wayward Daughters' didn't get picked up by the CW Network which was a shame 'cause I think the show should have at least got a chance but from what the showrunners have said parts of 'Wayward Daughters' are going to be integrated into the next season of 'Supernatural' and characters like Claire, Alex and Jody will be appearing more often than before. The actress who plays Claire has also just landed the leading role in another new TV show. You're perfect to me in every way. Don't think for a second you're not. The rest of the world can be jealous because they don't have you. I do. Why even announce it then if they had no intentions of giving it a fair go? Do they just like giving fans false hope? Things like this shit me.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind seeing that either. It will be interesting to see if any of the 'Supernatural' spinoffs ever go through before the show ends 'cause at this point they are kinda like 'Smallville' and there has been multiple 'Supernatural' spinoff shows I have heard were in the works but none of them have gone through 'cause the network wasn't fond of them or they weren't well received by fans like that 'Bloodlines' episode that was meant to lead into a TV show but was heavily disliked by most of the fandom. I think the only character that has a chance of having a successful spinoff show is Castiel and I know a lot of fans have been wanting to see one but the problem is if they base it before 'Supernatural' and show his life as an Angel working for God they wouldn't be able to have Misha Collins in it 'cause it wasn't until he arrived on earth in Season 4 he took over Jimmy's body. They could have the show set after 'Supernatural' though or they could keep 'Supernatural' going after Jared and Jensen leave with Castiel as the main star with some other characters like Mary, Jody, Claire, Alex, Charlie, Bobby etc. I would have watched a Castiel and Crowly show 'cause it was funny watching the two of them work together but with Crowly gone 'cause the actor chose to leave I doubt he will come back for a full time role.

A Castiel show wouldn't really work as a prequel anyway given how they set it up early on that Angels prior to S4 didn't visit earth much, a Trickster prequel however that could work, we know he had been on earth for a few millennia and under the same persona so that could be fun plus that character was always a blast for me.
Crowley spin off could work as Mark Sheppard may be open to coming back if he were the star of his own show, plus it's a way to explore the character more, as is Crowley kind of got to the point where it was what do you do with him now, he was still bad he just wasn't evil anymore, but he was never going to be a full good guy either, so it was to the point of what do you do with him?
OOH OOHH Rowena & Jody buddy cop series now THAT would be epic, I love Rowena plus her powers and Jody's job could make for some really fun stories, or Rowena & Mary again could be fun.
Bloodlines I think could have worked if it were A: not a Supernatural spin off, and B: The Originals wasn't also on at that time, as Bloodlines was too much like an Originals rip off with an "Original" in the cast and so far removed from what Supernatural had set up as plausible in that universe to work, like in a world where Hunters don't revisit the same towns they work incase they blow their cover the idea that monster mob families are vying over Chicago and have been for decades seems stupid, now had they also set it up that Chicago, NY, LA other major cities actually have this sort of thing and they also act as exceptions to those hunter rules because hunters are also located in them or to oversee them somehow to keep it covered up and to contain the problems the monsters cause, then maybe it's passable as a part of that universe, but it wasn't in either case.

You're adorable. I will love you forever and forever too and up until the sky and back down again sweetie. You are the love of my life. Always have been, always will be and I would hold you in my arms until the end of time if you wanted me to. Why are you still talking about m&ms? I bought you 2 new bags of caramel m&ms yesterday. Doesn't that make up for it?

No. I don't think it would work either but it is something I have seen brought up by a lot of fans and sites talking about 'Supernatural' spinoffs and I think the problem with 'Supernatural' spinoffs is they made the same mistake as 'Smallville' and left them too long and I could have seen a few characters having their own spinoff shows around the time of Season 5 and 6 but with the show being up to Season 14 this year they have probably left it too long and starting any shows that continue on from 'Supernatural' now will have the same problem you have said 'Arrow' would have had if they had gone with the original Green Arrow spinoff with Justin Hartley being tied down to the history of a 14 Season long TV show. With 'Wayward Daughters' not going through now I think they might drop any plans they had for other spinoff shows now 'cause they seemed very confident that show was going to go through and a lot of the actors were surprised it didn't. They have said a lot of the events that were lined up for the 'Wayward Daughters' show are going to be played out in 'Supernatural' this season and Claire, Alex and Jody will be appearing a lot more so we will still get to see what that show would have been like which has pleased a lot of fans and made others angry who didn't want the 'Wayward Daughters' show.
I agree with you about 'Bloodlines' and I haven't watched 'The Originals' before so I don't know what that was like but I did hear some other people say it was similar. My main problem with the episode was the lack of Sam and Dean and having it put in between such an important part of the show and I wanted to skip it and go to the next episode but couldn't.

I've been spending the summer watching shows I had passed on before. The best of the bunch has to be Rick and Morty. Which, for a comedy show, does drama better then the entire Arrowverse ever has.

My main problem with the episode was the lack of Sam and Dean and having it put in between such an important part of the show and I wanted to skip it and go to the next episode but couldn't. Yeah at this point I think the only way a Supernatural spin off works is once Supernatural ends, or is a limited series, which truth be told could be cool, like each year we get a different spin off like a season of Jody & Mary, then a season of Cas & Claire, then a prequel season of Crowley pre season 4, make an anthology spin off so you can focus on specific problems, but also you can tie back to the main show by having Sam & Dean pop in at the start or end of each season and the stars of each spun off season popping into Supernatural to help out and allude to their own show.
And yeah the lack of the Winchesters was a big mistake, that's been an issue with the show since the start, the Supernatural fans are fans of Supernatural primarily because of them, they are the life blood of the show, it's why the mainstay additional cast have always worked because they weren't brought in like they were muscling the boys out of the episodes, Bobby doesn't appear until the end of S1 and is mostly kept as simply additional to their stories for quite a while before getting his own episodes, Cas was introduced but planned to be killed off so they didn't delve into him too far until the fans already fell for him, same with Crowley, I think the same for Jody also, it's the ones who get brought in meant to be on par with the guys and get kind of shoe horned into things that get a backlash and then cut, which is crappy because I always loved Jo & Ellen, hell I dug Ash if I'm being honest, but it's the flaw of a show like this that is set up around a brotherly bond like the Winchester's that's what people tune in for so anything that gets in the way of that people get pissy about.

I like your idea about a different spinoff for every season after ‘Supernatural’ is finished and I think a lot of fans would be open to watching that and the ‘Wayward Daughters’ spinoff show may have had a better chance if they had held it off until after the show was over. From what I have read Jared and Jensen have said they are open to continuing doing ‘Supernatural’ until Season 15 and then they will make a decision if they will keep doing it or not and Jared has suggested keeping the show alive after it ends by having 2 or 3 TV movies every year and if the CW Network were to have pin off shows like the ones you suggested they could tie them onto the 2 or 3 TV movies they make and perhaps even have Sam and Dean appear in a few episodes if they are still open to guest appearing on a show.
A prequel show of Crowley would be interesting but they might have to use a different actor just like we were discussing with Castiel and Misha Collins and I am not sure how long Crowley had that body but it was obviously not his original one since Rowena (his Mum) didn’t recognise him when she saw him for the first time and Mark Sheppard isn’t getting any younger. I am still surprised Crowley is no longer in the show ‘cause I thought he would have stayed in it until the show and I think he would have made it to the end but Mark chose to leave. I heard there were plans to have him appear in the Alternate Universe as a human hero but I am not sure if that is still happening now ‘cause Michael is in our universe now and Alternate Bobby and Charlie might be stuck here too which is a convenient way to bring the actors back to the show after killing them off.
I don’t know if you have re-watched the earlier seasons for a while but the weird thing about Bobby is when he was first brought into the show they didn’t seem to be that close to him and he was more like a distant friend of their Father’s and over the next few seasons that changed completely and they were always talking about how he was an Uncle and a Dad to them and we heard about all these things they did with Bobby before the show started and it was like they forgot about how they were like with him when he first joined the show and there was all this additional history that wasn't there before.

I haven't for a while no, but iirc Bobby & John had some sort of falling out a while back which seeing how Sam was surprised Dean was hunting alone in the pilot also suggest Dean doing his own thing is relatively new, so anything John declared was law basically, and Sam wouldn't have seen Bobby in years either way due to going off to college, and I don't think they ever really showcased the relationship past early high school years for Sam, and that stuff does happen irl, but I think more so how the boys became so reliant on Bobby was kind of silly, before him they could research and learn things for themselves, and same with after, but whilst Bobby was around how often would they only half learn about a creature before turning to him or not bother at all?
Does anyone but me miss Garth? like I wish we could have had him still be the new Bobby, even as a werewolf, he wouldn't need to go anywhere but he could still help out, plus a once a year pop in for help would be fun I mean I wonder how he would react to Jack? Oooh what if they had given us bad ass Garth with like a massive scar and a missing eye from apocalypse world, make a running joke of all his injuries, like he's lost an eye, 4 teeth, both his big toes, 2 ribs, a kidney and a nut fighting the angels, even if it's just so Jack or Cas could heal him back to perfect health for the joke of Cas telling him you may want to check your fully equipped now and then walks off as badass Garth checks he has both plums.

Yeah. I think I do remember one of them say that in an episode and it does explain some things but it kinda just felt like Bobby wasn’t really an important character in Sam and Dean’s lives when they had him first join the show and then in less than two seasons they were the closest things he had to sons and there was all this history between them he was talking about that we never got to see on screen and I liked Bobby as a character and was disappointed when the writers decided to kill him off in the first half of Season 7 ‘cause they had already killed off so many popular characters in Season 5 which I thought shouldn’t have been killed off so early. I thought it was a mistake to kill off Castiel, Gabriel, Balthazar, Anna, Jo and Ellen too and it seemed like they went kill crazy in Seasons 5, 6 and 7.
I was glad they brought Castiel back near the end of Season 7 ‘cause I thought killing him off was the biggest mistake the show made and a lot of ‘Supernatural’ fans did too which is why he was brought back and funny enough I recently heard Castiel wasn’t originally meant to stay on after Season 4 and it was supposed to be Anna who was going to stay on as the angel that helped Sam and Dea and she would have also been Dean’s main love interest but the showrunners decided to keep Castiel on and eventually kill Anna off ‘cause Castiel was so popular with fans and I think they could have kept both of them and had Anna as somebody who occasionally dropped in from time to time. I liked Balthazar too and I think Season 7 would have benefited from keeping him but I think they wanted Sam and Dean to be alone in that season to make the Leviathans a bigger threat to them.
I would have liked it if they had kept Ellen and Jo around for more seasons too and before they made Bobby a bigger part of the show Ellen basically had his spot but for some unknown they cut Ellen and Jo’s roles after Season 2 and only brought them back in Season 5 to kill them off and some fans say it was ‘cause Jo was meant to be Dean’s love interest and it didn’t work out but I think she would have been better with Sam and Jo would have been better on the team as a friend and not a love interest for the brothers and I don’t get why that diminished Ellen’s role. One character I am surprised hasn’t been seen again is Krissy Chambers (who you may recall was played by the same actress who played Evelyn in ‘Arrow’) and I thought they would have got her back for ‘Wayward Daughters’ ‘cause Krissy was training to be a hunter like Sam and Dean and her Father and they made it look like she was going to return again in later seasons.
I had almost forgotten about her until we recently re-watched Season 7 and 8 and it is kinda like how they had the Antichrist (Jesse Turner) appear back in Season 5 and then he was never seen again and they gave Jack the role of Lucifer’s son later. I was surprised they killed Garth off ‘cause I thought he would have lived until the end and just been a character they brought in every now and then to help Sam and Dean and for comic relief but I heard the actor’s busy schedule made it difficult for him to be used and they had plans to use him a lot more but he was too busy so they killed him off.

GARTHS DEAD!!! *checks wiki* *sigh of relief* NOT FUNNY DEB!! Garth is alive you cruel soul he's just a retired hunter turned peaceful werewolf, he's fine, FINE I say, give me a bloody heart attack with this chicanery an bullshit woman.
Yeah writing of Jo & Ellen was crappy, I liked Jo & Dean's flirtatiousness and honestly I think had they kept them around it could have been a fun element to play with, they could have had them be flirty for years, jealous over each others hooking up with others, Dean being macho to show up Jo's boyfriend or something would have been fun for an episode because it's not like making the guys look like tits isn't one of the shows charms, but I said it before I think Supernatural has had an issue when introducing characters meant to be longterm characters they go a little to heavy handed, which is why the best and most beloved ones are the ones not meant to be focal points of the series like Bobby, Cas, Crowley, Gabriel and such, their not written to be loved 12 episodes down the road but right away so that if they do kill them off in 4 episodes you still give a shit.
Yeah they went kill crazy in those seasons I think because they kept expecting the show to end, S5 was the intended final season for Kripke but the CW just kept renewing them, and I don't think they wanted too many loose ends left if the show did get cancelled, where as now with universes being such a big deal they don't care because anyone left alive could be spun off into their own shit so who cares, I just wish they brought back more of the older characters from apocalypse world, why couldn't we get apocalypse Jo & Ellen, Apocalypse Rufus dammit I want it.
I never really liked the Krissy character, they kind of replaced her with Claire and gave her a more prominent tie to the guys where as Krissy didn't have one, also wasn't her end off about her going to try and live a normal life, I think you need the odd character like that who doesn't fall into the life to kind of sell how consuming it is for these characters who do, and that anyone who looks at it properly wouldn't actually want to have their lives.

Are you sure? I thought Garth did die. Unless I’m getting him mixed up with another character in the show I could have sworn there was an episode of ‘Supernatural’ where Garth was murdered and the writers used that to write him out of the show ‘cause the actor was too busy to return. I am not sure but what I do remember is they said there were originally plans to use Garth a lot more on the show and he was going to take Bobby’s spot but the actor’s schedule got in the way of that and they could not do half the things they had planned for him. I am surprised he was so busy ‘cause I haven’t seen him appear in that many movies or shows outside of ‘Supernatural’ and Misha Collins’ schedule does not get in the way of Castiel appearing and neither did the actor who played Crowley.
Sorry for the confusion. Yeah. Supernatural has long had an issue with a lot of the characters they have brought into the show and were planning on keeping and I often wonder what they would have done going forward with Ruby if Katie Cassidy had stayed on ‘cause from what I read Ruby was never originally meant to turn out to be bad and that was something that was changed when they changed the actresses and that must have meant they had bigger plans for her in the future and I imagine the show would have been very different had she stayed. One of the problems with female characters in ‘Supernatural’ though is when they have written them to be love interests for Sam and Dean you have crazy Sam and Dean fans hating on them nonstop and even attacking the actresses on social media and I think that has strongly contributed to a lot of them being killed off.
Fans like that were one of the main reasons I stopped writing on ‘Supernatural’ forums before ‘cause they were insane and I remember there was one actress that appeared on an episode back in Season 3 or 4 whose character slept with Dean and they were calling her a slut everywhere saying how they never wanted to see that stupid slut again or they would never watch the show again and every time there was an episode with one female character that so much as looked Sam or Dean’s way they had meltdowns over them and would all gang up on the character together. In some ways they were the same as the extreme Felicity fans with their obsessive behaviour but unlike them who wanted to see Oliver and Felicity get together they don’t want Sam or Dean with anybody else apart for them and I could just imagine how angry they would be if they gave Sam and Dean love interests now.
I don’t think we will ever see Sam or Dean getting love interests anymore unless we only see them in the final episode and they flash forward to the future ‘cause ‘Supernatural’ has showed the brothers are meant to be alone and it is part of the price they pay for the lives they lead hunting demons and saving people and just like Jack Bauer in ‘24’ most people that have gotten close to them have ended up dead including Castiel who has died a lot of times and was brought back. Having Apocalypse Ellen and Jo would have been fun and there were a lot of characters I would have liked to have seen come back with Bobby and Charlie but I don’t think they wanted to bring back too many and they chose to have Bobby and Charlie ‘cause they were the two fans complained about the most being killed off and now they can keep them in it.

Still haven't decided if I am going to watch Supernatural yet, but I am totally going to check out one episode of the show. Well, the thing is it is a long show as I have mentioned before and it is starting Season 14 this month so if you do decide to watch it you are going to have a LOT of seasons to watch and Beccy and I have been re-watching the full show on and off and we made it up to Season 12 and have stopped again to re-watch 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Angel.' What also makes it longer compared to some other shows is it has around 22-24 episodes in most seasons apart from Season 3 which was cut short 'cause of the writer's block so if you want a show you can watch that keeps going 'Supernatural' is that show.

Say speaking of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Donald Sutherland from the movie was in a movie with Dracula and Van Helsing.
