Never thought about this before till my brother made this observation, but there's a country (Austria) full of people that speak like Arnold or similar to it.

Well Marion Cotillard is French and there's a whole country that speaks just like her. Small world, huh?

Not really, but at least you guys can finally read my posts with a more proper accent than that weird Australian one. That always bothered me.

Not the Austrians I met.
Schwarzenegger is in a class of his own.

Not the Austrians I met. Schwarzenegger is in a class of his own. Exactly. Christoph Waltz is an Austrian too, and doesn´t speak like him.

Not the Austrians I met. Schwarzenegger is in a class of his own. Exactly. Christoph Waltz is an Austrian too, and doesn´t speak like him. ^Waltz's accent would be more the typical Austrian accent tourists will encounter as his is a Vienna middle class one. Schwarzenegger's is a more rural, Styrian (southern state of Austria) one - thus the "Styrian Oak" nickname.
Bottom line, when travelling through Austria don't be too disapointed if you find more Waltzes than Arnolds (in sound and picture), but the country it's still full of inspiring surprises like places called "Fucking". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fucking,_Austria
