I just bought tickets on Fandango for opening weekend, IMAX 2D.
I don't think there is any argument that this is, logistically speaking, the biggest movie of all time. If there's ever been a movie to spend a few extra bucks on for a higher format, it's this.

Definitely IMAX 2D (fuck 3D!)
I usually watch one film in IMAX once a year. The only exception was in 2012 when I watched both The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises and 2015 where I watched Age of Ultron and The Force Awakens in IMAX.

Standard, because price of 3D is absurd these days.

Standard 2D with some wine gums and a soda can that I'll smuggle in my pocket.

I haven't much gotten into the 3D thing (TRON LEGACY was one of the rare ones, plus it had that 3D style where it had depth rather than pop-up effects, and they used it like color/black n white was in WIZARD OF OZ), and my best friend can't watch them- she just sees double and fuzzy double at that. However, there is a mom & pop theatre near us that has extra-wide recliners you can sit in to watch the movie, and it is cheaper than most of the chains, so tend to go there opening weekend or the next weekend, and see movies. We'll probably see this one two or three times together, then each drag two or three other people to see it. (Unless they kill Steve Rogers, Okoye, M'Baku, Loki, Thor, Bucky, Shuri, and/or Drax- then I'll only be seeing it once).

I got the email today for the fan event 4/26 & it is already down to the crappy seats.
So RPX midnight 4/26. Or I guess 4/27.

If it's already on TV at a bar or store or airport or at someone's house and I happen to incidentally see parts of it.

Never 3D again. I saw Black Panther in 3D for the first time in years and it made my eyes bleed.

Standard if I can, 3D likely because my Cineplex seems to only offer that early on for MCU & Star Wars.

I don't even have that option. Not yet, anyway.
