Is the "we" you're referring to action figures or just imaginary? Everyone in this thread. You are the first and only person to mention DC in this thread. You might want to step away from the cramped confines of your hovel for a little while and get some fresh air.

So what is the best way to watch the marvel cinematic universe, or does it not really matter if you watch it in order or not ? My personal viewing comes down to Iron Man, Avengers, Iron Man 3, Winter Soldier or Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 1, vol. 2 but for the whole series, based on the set ups, it should go like this Iron Man (sets up IM2) Iron Man 2 (sets up Hulk and Thor) The Incredible Hulk Thor (sets up Captain America) Captain America (sets up Avengers) The Avengers (sets up IM3) Iron Man 3 Thor: The Dark World (sets up GOTG) Guardians of the Galaxy Captain America: The Winter Soldier (sets up Age of Ultron) Avengers: Age of Ultron Ant-Man (sets up Civil War) Captain America: Civil War (sets up Black Panther and Homecoming) Black Panther Spider-Man: Homecoming Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 Doctor Strange (sets up Ragnarok) Thor: Ragnarok (sets up Infinity War)

Just Watch Winter Soldier,Black Panther and the Netflix thats the best way Your answer is flawed because you have to watch The First Avenger and The Avengers before Winter Soldier, you have to watch Civil War before Black Panther, and while you don't necessarily have to it helps if you've seen at least the first Avengers to see the Netflix shows as The Incident plays a role with the exception of The Punisher.

Nah, the Netflix shows are too repetitive and only half 50% of a plot. They're for people who still can't accept they like comics. The best way to watch the MCU movies is in release order. Nothing but forced humor up until Winter Soldier and it starts again til Black Panther. I saved people who have not seen the mcu the trouble. Those two movies and the netflix stuff is the only good mcu material Can you give an example of humor that is "forced" in the MCU and give one that isn't so we can understand where exactly you're coming from here? In addition to your own comedic preferences. Watching it in release order( speaking on the movies, as the shows rarely match up on events) is the best way because you will be caught up to date with the universe and will be all ready for Infinity War. Ignoring all except for Winter Soldier, Black Panther, and the Netflix shows which don't have characters who will play a role in Infinity War isn't the right way to go about it if you're talking about the best viewing order. The Netflix shows started off well with the first seasons of Daredevil and Jessica Jones, Daredevil season 2 was great but the second half with Elektra and The Hand didn't keep the boat afloat very well. Luke Cage was good but it lost steam in its second half and when they brought in Diamondback - it didn't go bad but it got less interesting and fresh. Iron Fist remains to be the weakest show produced for Netflix and the weakest MCU related content released so far, second only to Inhumans on ABC. It started and ended rough, in the middle they found their stride but they were struggling to keep the ball up at the end and the way they handled David Wenham's character was pretty lazy and unexciting. The Defenders started off with a bang, the first two episodes were very cinematic and vibrant, but it struggled in the middle and ended pretty stale. The Hand, despite their best efforts, just were not very interesting and their ultimate goal seemed uneventful and kind of dumb. In addition to that, the stakes just didn't feel big enough. Army of ninjas aside, The Hand are not on the level of HYDRA or even the big bads on Agents of SHIELD where you get to see the awesome might of their power. I'm not saying they should've caused some serious damage or anything to the city, but at least they could've done something to make you feel they were more of a threat to be taken seriously. HIVE on Agents of SHIELD didn't destroy a city, but he had powers which the team could not handle individually and with force, they had to use their minds to defeat him. The Punisher was very good, but they overcomplicated his origin and dragged it out longer than they needed to. It was worth the binge, but if it aired on regular TV weekly I might've not held that strong a interest to finish. Jessica Jones season 2 was very good, but I'd be silly if I were to deny the notion that they could've wrapped things up sooner.
