"Game system" as I meant it there includes consoles and cartridges. You were corrected already but think you are the sole arbiter what my words mean. They have sold more if you count sales of used items. You were trying to count only first sales, remember now? What you meant wasn't what you said. Evidence?

Although "game system" and "game console" are sometimes used interchangeably they are not necessarily synonymous as you apparently delude yourself. If a "game system" means only the console then what is the word for the console plus all the games together? Notice how your definition is less useful? I have different terms for different sets of things. You have your illusion of being a special judge of anything. Counting hours of games played is my superpower. You presented data that sales were especially high shortly after NES. I pointed out that your data included sales of used games, which you then failed to disprove.

There is no word for "console plus all the games," You'd just say "console and all the games." You've heard this before, but you aren't the arbiter of the dictionary or definitions. Most everyone would equate "game system" with "game console." How often is it necessary to refer to "console and all the games?" LOL, that would be the most useless superpower ever. Which data are you referring to? Because there's been several presented in this thread. I don't recall you pointing out how any included sales of used games. I remember arguing that used games (or used anything) are usually not factored into sales figures because it's impossible to keep track of. Most used sales are probably private sales.
