I mean respectively of course. What were your thoughts on seeing the reviews for MoS on the week of its release? What about when you saw the reviews for BvS on the week of its release?

I wasn't paying that much attention to reviews and message boards when MoS was released. When the BvS reviews first dropped, I remember it feeling like Christmas day. My thoughts would have been something along the lines of.....Ahahahaha, karma is a bitch! I can't wait to rub the obnoxious aholes' noses in it. (When I say "obnoxious aholes', I mostly mean Mellomoviereview)

I can't really remember for Man of Steel but I was pretty surprised when it came to Batman vs Superman because it was a particularly low score for these kind of movies, especially in the modern era.
And it had all looked pretty good in the build up. There was a lot of apprehension at the start when Ben Affleck was cast and then Gal Gadot but then they started to win people over.
The costumes were looking good, the Batmobile looked good, the comic teaser trailer with Batman and the spotlight is still very good and the teasers and the comic con trailer was all pretty good.
So I was surprised when it was so low. Then I saw it and I could see why it got poor reviews but I still think a 20ish% is too low.

Wasn't surprised with MoS. I even remember telling people not to be fooled by the trailer because Snyder's movies always have great trailers only for you to get mediocre movies.
But BvS's reviews shocked even me. I knew it'd get a low score, but not THAT low.

With Man of Steel, I was unfazed though personally I think it deserved better than Superman Returns. With BVS, even with the divisiveness of MoS in hindsight, I was really surprised. I think its reception took a lot of people, even the pessimists aback.

My initial reaction to the negative reviews were "well, that's disappointing. Hopefully the movie isn't THAT bad."

Once I heard they were going to try for a Nolan approach with Superman, I kind of figured it wouldn't go well.

Didn't think much of MoS, but found the reviews okay. It's said to be mediocre at worst, so it ain't that bigga deal for me.
BvS was pretty surprising, though. Although it wasn't bad, but after viewing it, I can see why it's considered pretty bad.

Didn't notice any reviews for Man Of Steel(2013) and don't care anyway, because its one of my favorite movies--BvS, on the other hand, I knew it got awful reviews, and I agreed with the critics when I saw it

I thought that Disney has hotels and other perks to offer critics. WB does not.

I thought they were honestly wrong. I went to see BvS opening night, thinking it would at least be entertaining. I saw the warehouse fight scene before I saw the movie and that one scene convinced me that the movie would be awesome for me, as a Batman and Superman fan. Little did I know that the warehouse scene was BY FAR the best scene in the movie and the movie would be terrible in every other way. Man of Steel was like a 75%-80% movie to me so the reviews did not surprise me. I actually prefer that film to any other DCEU film. I can still watch it. Even though Wonder Woman was very good, I find myself not being able to watch it multiple times.

I can't recall my reaction to MoS, but with BVS it was complete shock. I loved the trailer, and hearing Batman say "Do you bleed?" gave me chills. I really thought it was going to be a blockbuster, Avengers-like, monster OW, fans and critics raving about it.
Didn't happen.
