Are the 3 women in a van characters in the comics? Decent ep. So if the pattern holds next week will suck?

First episode of the entire season that I enjoyed. I'm curious how the new people could possibly have been unknown until now though. Seems highly unlikely to say the least.
Still wish they just kill Negan. So bored of him.

I LOVED this episode! Even though the plot is still driven by characters acting stupid, it was more enjoyable than any episode in the last couple of seasons. Loved the Rick/Negan showdown, even if they weren't face to face. When Rick lit Lucille on fire and Negan lost his shit, "DON'T YOU TOUCH HER!!!!", OMG, I lost it and LMAO!! Maggie was also good in this episode. Although she wasn't involved in any "action" scenes, she was very, very intense. She proved to me that she is worth whatever salary she wants! Simon....I love this evil dude. Sorry that he is 100% sure to die before the end of this season. Georgie...this is cool, and a preview into "the New World" of season 9. So at least they are planning a little ahead with the writing.

Still wish they just kill Negan. So bored of him. Why the hell would you want that? How can they ever outdo him as a villain? He should be the show's final villain. Unless they come up with some greater threat for future seasons, where maybe Rick and Negan's group must join forces to defeat. Either way, getting rid of Negan is a very bad idea.

IMO, Negan was one of the weaker villains. I thought The Governor was more of an evil, backstabbing, psycho villain that Negan. If Negan didn't bash in the skulls of Glenn and Abraham, he'd barely be a blip on the top 10000 villains in TV history.

Granted I didn't expect to see him using it in every episode, but basically all we saw him do it with it is bash Glen and Abraham in the head with it...the rest of the time he just carried the damned thing around. He was kind of a let down.

The biggest punishment that Rick could have done to Negan in the finale was to set Lucille on fire and make Negan watch as it went up in smoke.

That definitely should have happened!
